I'm short (5'3"), and I've got blond hair and blue eyes. My favorite clothes places are Delias, American Eagle, Old Navy, Hollister, and Target. I love to make movies, play basketball, snowboard, and play violin. What would I be labeled? I know this is a stupid question I'm just annoyed that people judge you as a prep immediately just 'cause you shop at American Eagle.

I'm doing a presentation on comedy or more specifically what Americans as a whole find something funny. Comedy programs or live shows from the past decade or two is the time frame I'd like to research on including popular programs people what these days. I'm sure describing the whole complicated psychology and the different trends in comedy would be too much of a reply so a brief summary and any internet sources will be greatly appreciated. So once again, what is the trend in American comedy that people as WHOLE, not your personal taste, enjoy watching. Why do most conservatives make a huge issue about homosexuals getting married? Don't we, as a nation, have plenty of other more pressing matters (Iraq, education, environment) to worry about? But despite that fact, it will probably be removed again.
The question is simple;
Christians claim that god heals the sick and infirmed. In fact, they have specialists that lay their hands on people and cure them of their ills and damage. They are called faith healers. They make millions of dollars a year.
Yet, not one single one of these faith healers, or god himself for example, has EVER healed an amputee.
Cancer, diabetes, paraplegics, are no problem to heal for them, but if someone comes to them with so much as a missing fingertip, they're stumped.
Why is that? Does god simply hate amputees?

So, let's have your answers, as long as they don't include the inane argument "but amputees aren't sick" since quad and parapligics aren't sick either.
And I fully expect this question to be removed too. But for those of you who do so, ask yourselves why you feel the need to do so. Is your faith so flimsy that you'd rather remove the question rather than answer it? Pretty cowardly...

Most people in America are more religious, and religious people are less tolerant of sexuality, so this would suggest that people in America would be more intolerant of pedophilia.

However, in America there are laws about free speech and this allows pedophile organizations to advocate pedophilia. This freedom of speech may make pedophilia advertising more widespread, which may help it gain more acceptance. In America there are organizations like NAMBLA (North American Man Boy Love Association) dedicated to promoting pedophilia.

I and my Father are one.

Which means Father & son Jesus both are equal, both are powerful both are same. ok


JOH 14:28
Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

Here Father is powerful not his son Jesus, we have to agree because its Jesus words.


why you believe Jesus who is not powerful ?

why don’t you believe his father ?

....as if that "proves" that homosexuality is wrong?

Aside from the fact that a LOT of heterosexual couples also can't have children "naturally" (I'd say 40% if you add up infertile couples, couples past menopause, and so on), is making babies the ONLY reason to have a relationship with someone?

I love babies, but even if my BF was infertile and we were doomed to a childless life, I would never leave him. He's far too important to me to give up, even for babies. We'd adopt, or we'd adjust.

Why should gay people be seen as any different? Why should the "power to reproduce" show what God "wanted" except that, maybe, when people were first starting out, God "wanted" babies. Since Christians say that polygamy is wrong NOW because we don't need so many babies anymore (unlike back then when it was "right" to have many wives), maybe homosexuality is right NOW for the same reason - we're getting a tad crowded?
