To me Matthew 25:40 was such a profound lesson that Jesus taught. It was at that moment I realized that it didn't always have to be about me. It wasn't about letting everybody know what big shot I was. It was quite literally "what you do to the least of these... I would love for you to share your thoughts and and your experiences of both giving and receiving

I heard this story from an old science teacher, but I always thought he was kidding about it. Some lady goes skydiving, her chute doesn't open, but she lands in a grassy field with soft dirt, and she not only survives but doesn't have any broken bones because of the way she hit the ground (she fell on her back).

I am white...but by all means, leave your best white person joke, I will laugh if it is funny. But tell a joke to some people making fun of there culture and they get offended.

Have you noticed a certain culture that seems to get more offended then another???

Genesis 5 But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower that the men were building. 6 The LORD said, "If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. 7 Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other."

Not only the devil, but also everybody who turns away from his teachings. If he already knows (a big IF) what we are all destined to be, why is all this necessary?

and by politness, I mean something as easy as holding the door for someone or saying please and thank you for service they recieve. Also they are useally poor tippers compared to how much someone with less money would give.

I am not saying ALL rich people, I am saying if you took 100 average income people and 100 rich people more rich people would be arrogant. Have you noticed this as well?? Why do you think this is???

I just finished watching one of my favorite movies, "Dances with Wolves," in witch the white, "longknife" protagonist - John Dunbar, is given his Souix (Dakota) name. After some reflection of what would relate my personal life essense to others, the best I can come up with is "Seeks-to-improve-human-thought...." which hardly has much of a romantic tone to it. And, despite my 'preoccupation' with bringing human reasoning to a more accomplished level, I am, in fact, an incurrable romantic... there is this sense of deep loss for humanity ( and our humanities) moving pall mall into a future for which it is ill-prepared... due to any number of factors, but mainly due to that ubiquitous ailment of "constricted awareness."
So, is there an animal that seeks to aid humans despite their lack of reflexive & anticipatory thought... that can empathize with their "predicament," but would like to shake up their often destructive, and counter-productive habituated behavioral attributes. What?

Nothing in my whole life has meant so much to me as my children do. But I know some atheists are ambivalent about having children on the grounds that it seems pointless creating a life that simply has to struggle hard for eighty-odd years to survive before the inevitability of death and oblivion. If I ever felt like this, I don't now, obviously. But do other atheists have views about this?

And of course, the address in the title line isn't meant to exclude anyone (though I'd prefer respectful answers). Presumptions of ownership are horrible.

Is this true?, The darker you are= The closer your are to your African descent, The Lighter you are=The further away from your african decent/the closer you are to whatever other heritage you have(Keep in mind we are talking about the 2 main features in people of the african descent, Skin, and Hair),Because i noticed, ive see Lightskinned african americans that have grown an afro, but theres are Wobble, weak, and dont stand as well as Darker skinned african americans who have grown afros which stay in place, and don't move when then wind blows or when they walk, Although i have seen that except backwards on certain rare occasians....
Here are the questions...Kinky hair + Dark skin=Close to african decsent? Straightish kinky hair+ light skin=Further away? Kinky hair + Light skin= This would mean what? Straightish Kinky hair + Dark skin= This would mean what?...
Is it possible to even tell how close you are to the african descent just by your features

I saw this question earlier that made reference to an "atheist agenda."

I was wondering what you all thought this atheist agenda was, and at the same time i am going to out the true atheist agenda... here it is:

To make the world a better place for everyone.

They are hip and happening, street-smart, sharp, quick witted, peppy and trendy. The credit goes to the modern parenting techniques of upbringing and a "liberal" advent in the field of child psychology. The future looks bright and the past kids look dim-witted in comparison.

I'm looking for for a calendar that my family had every year. They were published every year from the 1890's until I know the 1990's. They were published as Ramon's Brownie Calendars. They had moon phases and weather info on each day and were given away by businesses with their advertising on top. I would really love to know if they are still being printed, I would love to buy a new one. Any info would be appreciated in locating a current calendar.

i have a question
I have been studying the bible with jehovah's witnesses for quite some time now
the thing is ...

how do i know this is not just another false religion? what makes this one different than others? Yes, I know it says it in the bible. However, the other false bibles could say the same thing.
