some people are just that way,and some dont even realize it. they have been that way all their life .

Because they are self-centered and have a feeling of superiority over everyone else.
And I don't see that "having a bad day" is a good reason for being rude. How do you know that the person you're being rude to isn't having a worse day but they are managing to NOT take it out on everyone else.

This is just my opinion, but I think people are rude because they can be... especially when they're online. The worst most offender's get is a warning from their service provider... but some of them get black-listed, when they have to be warned too many times. That's the light version on my opinion... the explicit version is much worse.

They may feel that have a justifiable reason for it that you cannot comprehend or are aware of. Rudeness can be a sign of insecurity and anger issues as well, lack of manners or plain ignorance.

Usually it's the way they grew up. A cousin of mine is this way because she never had to want for anything, everything was given to her and now that she's an adult she's as rude, arrogant, and hateful as they come.

Probably having personal problems that have nothing to do with you, they just do not think (most of the time). Some people, on the other hand, were not raised right, try not to take it personally.

Personal choice and this is no excuse....their environment while they were growing up. Keep in mind the environment means everywhere they spent time during childhood which is how they are choosing to continue to behave - now - in their environment.

They may just be having a bad day! Also,that may be the way they grew up,some parents don't bother teaching manners.

or maybe they don't think they are being rude. it is just their
way of communicating
