don't you think its about time people stop taking what one person did and say all the people from the faith are like that?i find that many of the times people will take an extremist Muslim and then say all Muslim are like that.and i don't think its fair.

like for example i just read a question about how some sheikh in australia was basically justifying rape.and then the people started to say all muslims are like that.
isn't that genralization?and how come when a christian leader says something that's out of line but no one lumps all christians together.isn't that double standards?

If a person feels that their moral upbringing was causing them problems, do you feel that it would be okay for them to change lives, so to speak? That is, imagine a new past that would provide them a stronger (albeit superficial) emotional foundation, so long as they don't outright abandon their family and still seek to atone for any wrongs they had done in their past?

Although da answers i had were helpful i don't think people really got what i meant. I'll give more of a description. Me and him aren't frends but we aren't enemys. When I said i always see him looking at me. It's because he been placed in front of the board and when i look at the board he's staring directly at me no doubt about it. Either that or if i'm talking to my friend and hes near he always looks at me not both of us just me. If someone accuses him of being gay he makes a sarcastic comment then goes and try to kiss one of his friends. Although that might seem jokey he dives in on the oppurtunity and trys really hard to kiss. It is a possibility dat he was dared but he wouldn't do a dare like that. I know because i heard one of his friends say this dare before and he refused to do it. So y wud he hug me. I don't hope hes gay either because i'm not gay. Any ideas on how i can find out if he is gay without directly asking him. I am not gay i just want to know y he did this to me.

I have been trying to read the Bible, King James version. I find it terribly boring & difficult to even get into. I can't even get past Matthew. Can anyone who has actually read the entire Bible offer any advice or should I just forget about it. Am I doing something wrong or do you have to be a believer to read the Bible? I would like to read it I just do not think I am as interested as I thought I would be.

I've always wondered what is stopping me from connecting to people, I think it's uptightness.

I've always been a bit socially anxious. People often comment on my leg jiggling and stuff when nervous (which I'm usually doing unconciously) my small friend circle is made up of all females because I usually fall out with guys after their comments. For example someone was going round "introducing" me to people by saying "This is , he's scared of people with a vagina, and doesn't talk very much". Is this sort of thing normal from "the lads"? He' 20 for gods sake! I haven't talked to him since because I found it insulting, my history with g/f's, is nonexistent, that and my shyness are sore points.

I also get horrified when people talk about drugs they've done. When people start talking about sex I leave the room. Hell, ANYTHING illegal makes me instinctively horrified.

Do I need to lighten up? If so, how?
Was his behaviour normal? People at school never said such things.

Why do orientals have slanted eyes? We can relate as to why some cultures have darker or lighter skin, why some are smaller or larger than other cultures but why do orientals have slanted eyes? I have looked on the net but never found an answer to this.

yes, this may sound silly, but i just recently saw a cloud this evening that was in the shape of a dragon. the head was very clear, i could see it's eyes and it's nose had a point to it - hard to describe but it wasn't like a beak of a bird but was verticle, not horozontal. anyways, the neck was in an "s" shape and i could see only part of the body. it had something that looked like wings but i couldn't see them very clearly. on an added note, as the cloud was moving, as crazy as this was, it looked as though there would have been smoke coming from it's mouth. very odd, but interested in anyone who may have an idea on the meaning behind it.
