I came here from China and all I knew of Americans was what I saw on TV. I'd see these peaceful non-violent black people, that lived in nice homes and spoke ENGLISH.

That is NOT the way it is. It's the exact opposite. I'm not racist I'm just saying the stereotypes of blacks on TV (i.e. kind, loving, non-violent) is NOT the way they actually are.

Has anyone else from another country had this experience?

as there are christians.

most all of them are here trying to reason with the christians, trying to help christians think less shallowly and consider the implications of condemning silly things like homosexuality and so forth. They are here becuase they love humans, even beligerant ones.

If your are christian, do you feel the opposite? do you really think that these people are guided by EVIL and are doing this becuase they are lost in satan?

By success I mean obedience. We are torn on this issue. Yeah, it works at the time...but there is so much a toddler gets in trouble with that Im not sure if its worth it. We are green in this area..just dont want disobedient children. Are there any parents out there that have used spanking to curb their kids' behaviors? Has it worked or not?

I'm set to graduate next year and I'm looking for options - I'd like benefits, and I've heard of a few agencies that offer them.. I know that agency pays better, but - the shifts aren't guarenteed and, unless I'm contracted, there is little job security and stability - It'll be like being hired at a new place every 3 nights!! but the money is a major draw - what advantages/disadvantages are there to Staff nursing versus agency nursing.. I'm from New Jersey, BTW

Okay so i've noticed theres this person who always stares at me in the hallways at my school, and then in class he always looks over at me but acts like hes just casually turning his head, even though i know hes not just "casually turning his head" and then when i catch him looking at me he turns away really fast....what does that mean? That would be interesting. A lot of what goes on here as debate is pure crap and I am ashamed of some Christians here that I don't even know. Personally attacking each other serves no purpose and convinces neither side.

Hell is hot, dark and excruciatingly hot. There is no escape once you are there. Your life will belong to the demons that are assigned to torture you and you will be naked.

"The fire is not quenched Mark 9:48".

For the people that are in hell, "the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever and they have no rest day or night Revelation 14:11".

So you see that there is no sleep, no rest, no water, no breaks, no will of your own, no pleasure, just pain and suffering. You have to endure this all.

In addition to billions of people screaming, moaning and hollering, their is and will be "weeping and gnashing of teeth (Matthew 13:50)".

Does this sound like a place that you want to be?

What about heaven? Heaven is purely tranquil and peaceful. In heaven, you have eternal peace, joy and love forever. How then can you get there?

In John 14:6, Jesus Christ tells us that He is "the way, the truth and the life and that no man cometh unto the Father, but by Him".

I used to be Wiccan, but have fallen off the path for the past few years. I'm looking to return to it. Does anyone have advice for finding pagan community, both on-line and in real life? I realize there are different types of Pagans. The reason I've been vague instead of asking specifically for "Wiccan", for example, is that I'm interested in learning more about different types of Pagan faiths. Any advice would be appreciated. Also, any book reccomendations would be great too. Thanks

The cross Contantine used is nothing like the cross the romans used to crusify people. Also it's nothing like the cross the catholic/christian church uses. Constantines cross was like a x with a p through it. What kind of cross is this? Why is it so different? This is the cross ainted on his soldiers sheilds.
