Everyone has who is over eighteen in the U.S. can vote, no matter what their ethnicity or creed. I know where you're coming from, in 2004 election some people were upset and demanded that 'Christians' shouldn't be allowed to vote... this was in Portland, Oregon where they tried to pass a gay marriage law. It was shot down by the whole state but multmonah county... Portland and satillite towns.

I am originally from Brasil, and in Brasil we do not vote for parties... in fact the US is one of the few nations that does. We, vote instead, for people who'll get things done... not those with good ideas. If you have connections then you'll get stuff down! That is America's main problem in government... Even if Brasil is a third world country it wasn't long ago when the US was... 0nly 60 years ago.

You mean leave voting to about thirty people per state? removing what? 99% of any government?
Is your theory based wholly in anarchy?
I realize that some of the Christians we see in Answers are somewhat...odd.
But does that make the rest of the world bad? Islam is a governing religion (place chuckle here). Who would rule the middle east or Europe or the Americas? There are not enough Atheists to do the job.

Sure, they should be allowed to vote. They just need to be a bit pickier about what laws they even want to look at. They're letting damn near anything in there now.

It sounds as though you want to use religion as a means of controlling who gets a say in the governing of our country. You are the one mixing religion and government.

I'm not an American, but yoo-hoo.....isn't there something down there about separation of Church and State?

The right to vote has no links to any faith.
