Is France finally realizing they are not the rulers of the world?

I see that France is slowly begining to make some changes to there laws to be more in line with the majority rather than keep trying to tell all others what to do.

Get real...de Gaulle still though France ruled the world even when the Nazis were marching down the Champs-Élysées.
