Where in the bible does it say to take any medical means possible to extend your life as long as it can possibly be, even to the extent of keeping you "alive" even though you are a vegetable.
That's a long time to hold off eternal bliss.

ok...I hear a group of ppl have managed to get some political to recognise a bunch of idiots to be federally recognised as native americans.....this piece of copied paper was shoved in my Native face and told me to eat crow!!!!theyre a recognised tribe here...hahaha( I dinna tell them or ask where the govnah's seal and state seal was on this worthless piece ...whut do u think? I sure wouldnt recognise it..and i think the govnah should be askt to stepp down....these factions are politals/radicals and totally disrespect native american ways...am I wrong in asking this? or will i be in violation???? it is a valid question and its an all american question and invovles native american rights...i could go on and on and on....but---anyways...thanx...

I'm a (sceptical) Christian and i always wondered why if Jesus was a Jew, and Jesus was in fact the son of God, why aren't we all Jewish? Surely if anyone knows the correct religion, it would be the Son of God Himself?

(I'm not trying to offend anyone, don't say that i'm going to hell or that i just need to have faith, please give a logical answer as best you can.)

My neighbor just brought me over a Christmas gift, nothing big just a nice gift with a card. I wasn't planning on getting her a gift, we are just casual aquaintences.
What should I do now? I feel funny getting her a gift now, after she got one for me. Will it look obivious that I just got her a gift because she got me one? I was thinking about making her some cookies or a cake, something I baked. Do think that would be ok, or should I do something else?

Why should I let other people, organizations and -things- to be between
me and God? If I pray and receive insights directly, do I need a church?
Do I need a Bible? If in fact the questions of religion and faith are
supremely important, why should I look to anything filtered through
another human being? If my soul is at stake, why not seek inspiration
and communion -directly- with the higher power? Going to churches I
didn't build, hearing sermons I didn't write, reading scripture I didn't
translate, etc. All of that risks my misunderstanding of God's purpose for
myself. If my house is in order, what do I need for anything more than
my own connection to God? Indeed, how can anyone claim to know
what's right for my soul but God?

It seems to me that communion and fellowship come from human, social urges and have nothing to with my relationship to God. None of you will be there with me when I face my death, so why should I let anyone influence my faith?
