ok...I hear a group of ppl have managed to get some political to recognise a bunch of idiots to be federally recognised as native americans.....this piece of copied paper was shoved in my Native face and told me to eat crow!!!!theyre a recognised tribe here...hahaha( I dinna tell them or ask where the govnah's seal and state seal was on this worthless piece ...whut do u think? I sure wouldnt recognise it..and i think the govnah should be askt to stepp down....these factions are politals/radicals and totally disrespect native american ways...am I wrong in asking this? or will i be in violation???? it is a valid question and its an all american question and invovles native american rights...i could go on and on and on....but---anyways...thanx...

to my oglala cuzzn...thank you very much...(i'm sioux too)....islanders are ISLANDERS..thats why they have the tribal island names....alaskan natives dont wish to be recognised as indians either so i hear...thats cool too....whuts gets me too is that some islanders that are cuban and tiaino(whutever) mix who drum with some of our cuzzzinz and then get mad cos we call them islanders/theres a certain island boy who married a sioux girl who DEMANDS to be treated like hes a cheif or something...makes me laugh at him here at the pow wows...thanx cuzz..

i've never heard of this one before. but it wouldn't surprise me at all.
some people still think we natives have to have "papers" on order to step foot the rez. the thing that really b!tches me out, is when senator daniel inouye got the congress to designate hawaiians as native americans...back in the 80's. i have a lot of hawaiian friends, and they don't consider themselves to be "indians." i think pacific islander is a more accurate "classification." the islands were never connected to the mainland and we never had a knowledge of the hawaiians or traded with them. when that act was passed, it immediately took 50% of funding from the native populations on the mainland. money that was desperately needed for education and medical costs. many native ppl had to go off dialysis, etc., for lack of funding. i think it should be reversed.

As many true Native American tribes are not recognized it's sad to see fake ones recognized. I don't know what you're talking about though so it's hard to judge.
