A basket of fruit and candy?

I can buy the basket and put all of that stuff in it and decorate it up and save money than going ahead and buying one already made up right?

Is this an okay gift to give to your mother in law?
thanks

Hey, I was wondering, I've always noticed that there seems to be some hostility from the britist directed towards the French. I was wondering why this is? And before you answer, please note that i am infact looking for a reason, or a site were i can find out about this. Weather it has historical significance or otherwise. And please, no racial bashing (eg, 'their snobby', etc.). And I'm not French, in case you're wondering.

We are the first to admit were not perfect..that's why we believe in what christ did for us at the cross...paid for our sins....were all accountable for the choices we make in life...once you have given your life to Christ you just try to make the right choices

I pray that someone can help my family for Christmas. I am a single mom of 2 very beautiful deserving girls ages 14 and 6. The 14 year old is disabled and we are having a real rough time right now. We are on a very low income of my daughters disability and VERY little help from the father. I am a bit embarrassed by asking this but I am really heart broken and depressed about this issue. My daughters are so excited about Christmas and keep talking about what Santa is going to bring them. They both believe in Santa and I am so scared that I will not be able to provide Christmas gifts for them this year and be forced to tell them the truth that Santa is really me. My heart aches because I have not been able to find any help anywhere and I think that by telling them that there is no Santa will rob them of their innocence and that kills me. I feel so bad. Can anyone help or tell me where I may find some help? Salv Army, United Way etc has closed deadline I CANT FIND ANY HELP!

Here where I live in the U.S. we say "Top of the mornin' to you!" on St. Patrick's Day.

First of all, is that really an Irish expression?
Second, is it man to man, or may ladies say it also?
Third, if it is a legitimate greeting, is it used all year around?

Thank you

According to it, a universe endures for about 4,320,000,000 years. A universe, because there were many universes that were destroyed, will be many more after this.

I certainly know that now, if I was asleep or in an operation, and someone altered my genitals in any way, I would do them for sexual harassment...

Ok, reasons I believe that (infant) circumcision is wrong:
1. the baby has NO say it what is happening to them. With a consenting adult, I think it is ok.

2. it is not necessary. In some cases it may stop build up of bacteria, but it also can CAUSE infections. It is an unnecessary operation. For example, perhaps we could also justify removing every newborns appendix? They can cause problems after all, and do not help in any way. Operations, big or small, should only be done if they are NEEDED, which circumcision is not.

3. It is a removal of skin from the PENIS. Though this may seem like a small detail, to me it is huge. I don't believe that anyone has the right to mess with anyone elses genitals without their consent, even more so than other parts of the body. If I knew that my parents had asked for this procedure to be done on me,

When I was pregnant I did not go around like they do today showing every little detail about my pregnancy. I think you all look ugly, and that is how I feel about that one. It is wonderful to be pregnant and to have a baby, but this is so stupid. Their are alot of people that feel the same as I do. Most men that I have talked to think it is un-attractive to show your belly.

What if we removed all of the attempts at explaining natural phenomena, as well as the intolerence, cruelty and violence from the Bible and left it simply as a collection of philosophies by which to live a peaceful life? I'd be willing to get behind a book like that.

Thomas Jefferson did something similar in his day. He removed all of the supernaturality from his Bible and created a book of what was applicable to his time.

Isn't it time for a new edition? So much of the Bible is totally ignored or even completely inacurate or irrelivant to us in our modern age... Why not other holy books as well?

My husband is a great guy, he spends much time with the kids and therfore hasn't got a real hobby. While this is great , it makes shopping for him hard, can't do the golf or hunting thing.

He's 50ish and likes history and watching crime TV and CSI type shows. He's not real into tech toys, I'm the family computer buff. Some past gifts include a fireproof safe, massage certificate, OU memorabilia, a pikepass, concert tickets, and lingere and oils etc.

I'd like to go all out and plan a long weekend away without the kids for his main present, but will need an under the tree gift or gifts reguardless. Please share your ideas, Thanks.
