Which would you be more willing to do for them? Why?

a) Die for them. Give up your own life. Your loved one will never see you again in their current lifetime and you'll be dead.

b) Kill for them. Suffer all the emotional problems that killing another human may bring upon you. You may risk going to prison or getting yourself killed.

I know God is good and that all things are through Him, but every time I work hard for something I feel like God slaps me in my face. I sometimes cry and pray and ask God what to do, but I never hear Him. I try to have a good relationship with God, but it seems that whenever I am feeling low he is never there. I know that things could be worse than they are, but I still don't understand why when I am at a low it seems like He is never there for me. Why does he not hear my prayers. I understand that it is about what God wants and not what I want, but I have been praying for certain things all of my life and not even material things, and God still has not provided. I know He may not give us what we want the way we want it, but why can't I get a break sometimes?
