I have wondered of this also. Jesus said the least among you is the greatest, Judas Certainly did the dirtist Job of all and Jesus said to judas,Go,do what you must do. This, coming from Jesus was a COMMAND FOR JUDAS.

Wow! I just got done writing a paper about Judas for college. I understand what you are saying, but I think he didn't die for our sins. He didn't really die betraying Jesus, he commited suicide for feeling guilty for turning his savior in.
No one really knows why Judas turned in Jesus to the Roman government, but there are many theories. He may have not completely accepted the fact the Jesus was the Messiah and wanted him to prove this by getting out of the clutches of the Roman army. Another theory is that he want to go ahead and accelerate Jesus' death and make him fulfill his prophecy. Others think that he was possessed by the devil.
So, to answer your question, I don't think that he died for our sins.

No, Judas did not die betraying Jesus, he died when he killed himself, because he betrayed Jesus. Jesus is the only one that died for our sins. Judas was 100% human, while Jesus was 100% Human, and 100% Divine, only Jesus, who was both human, and God, could die for us, You can't just make a=b and b=c so a=c, if you know what I mean.

Judas played an important role in the passion and death of Jesus. He felt guilty about turning Jesus over to Pilate and the torturers and eventually killed himself.
Yes, Judas died (later on because of guilt).

Judas didn't die betraying Jesus, he committed suicide after betraying Jesus.
Some argue that he did what he did because it was ordained that he should do so. Some even go so far as to argue that he did so because of some duty to the plan of salvation. If he did this, he would not have felt such remorse and guilt to have led him to a suicidal end.

The Manifestations of God cannot be deflected from Their purpose.
God always wins. His Holiness Christ suffered and if it had not been Judas it would have been someone else. There is hope in heaven even for Judas. Judas on the other hand is in noway equal to Jesus.

Judas made the decision to betray Jesus.Judas was a liar and a thief ,before he betrayed Jesus.
Judas was there he saw the many miracles, the great works Jesus did.He knew that Jesus was the Son of God.
Yet his own greed caused him to betray Jesus.
Why do you betray Jesus?

No, Judas died while committing suicide... (Thus breaking a commandment of "Thou shalt not murder").
JESUS died for our sins, as was instructed by the FATHER...
Judas recieved no commandment nor, committment to do so, and wasnt authorized, because "he" was with sin..(he was stealing from the treasury of the Deciples)...
Judas had a choice, either to betray JESUS or not, and he chose to do so...
I wish you well..
