Quran 4:74 “let those fight in the cause of allah who sell the life of this world for the hereafter. to him who fighteth in the cause of allah,- whether he is slain or gets victory - soon shall we give him a reward of great (value). http://cwis.usc.edu/dept/msa/quran/004.qmt.html

A reward is promised for fighting for Allah, whether you are "slain" or have victory. Why would Allah openly offer this afterlife-bounty, I mean, doesnt that take away the test? The Jihadist is doing it for a reward, like a bounty hunter, not necessarily out of a love for Allah. Wouldnt it make more sense for Allah to just see who is willing to fight for him and get slain or succeed in the slaughter of unbelievers without promising him rewards?

Ok, call me crazy, but this looks exactly like the cheap human carrot-stick methods to get people to do things...I dont see how a God could be involved in something so gimmicky.

So I was driving home from work today and was at a red light. When the other light turned red, someone a few cars back layed on their horn, our light had not even turned green yet and this jerk was laying on the horn. Are they in that much of a hurry they expect the rest of us to run red lights?

I keep hearing this theory that religious people have higher birth rates, and while every generation turns away from religion, the next generation comes into religious homes because they tend to want more babies. I won't bother linking because there are so many variations on this concept -- from political to geographical. But the gist is, the Baptists from Alabama have more kids than the agnostics in Seattle.

I happen to think they're hilarious. Not to mention a good way to thin out a party that's running too late! However, some disagree.

am a high school junior and went to a party last saturday night where there was 5 cheerleaders and like 3 football players there. I thought really it was going to be just kinda hanging out, having pizza, and some drinks but we ended up playing an adult board game and the guys all had to get naked. We all took off our clothes at the same time and once the underwear came off, these guys were like 5 inches and I was standing there with an inch in front of Courtney, Tiffany, Paige, Elizabeth, and Kayli. I was so embarrassed. Of course the card said we had to remain nude for 10 minutes. We then had to sit on the couch. The girls came out of their room in their cheerleader outfits, and they paraded in front of us. Some bent over and showed their panties, but again when we all got erect, I was just 3.5 inches while they were like twice as big. I also leaked fluid. Am I just a total loser with no self control. Should I have just left the party once the naked game started? Will I live it down
