He was a very great and Holy man. I remember being in Rome in 1979 and seeing him do an outdoor mass on the feast of Corpus Christi. It was as if the whole world was standing still as he raised the Host. It was such a moving experience. He truly was a Saint.

My father and Pope John Paul II were both operating a parallel with their Parkinson's disease so even as my Dad's were given truly undesirable I prayed to Pope John Paul II for intercession and my Dad immediately kicked the bucket which became a huge blessing for him.
