I'm a straight girl, and good friends with a gay guy. He tells me that he's only attracted to men, but he is constantly calling certain girls hot, and I suspect that he has a crush on me. He gets jealous when I talk about other guys, he gives me hugs, he tries to hold my hand in public, and he tells me that I'm sexy. So is he completely gay, and is he attracted to me?

What do I do in the following situations?

1. I have a lot of friends, but some of them are not best friends. I'm trying to lower the gift giving this year, but the friends I'm giving gifts too... are in the same classes as the friends that I'm not giving gifts to this year. How do I avoid this akward situation?

2. What do I do if someone I didn't give a gift to, gave one to me?

3. What do I do if I give a gift to someone who doesn't give one to me? Would they feel obligated to give me one?

Any other tips are much appreciated! Remember that this is for highschoolers.

Someone who asked a question about Michael Richards got me to thinking, I think we live in a hypersensitive society. Everything must be absolutely politically correct. I mean, God Bless America, home of the Holiday Tree. Don't get me wrong, our Kramer screwed up. He made a total *** of himself. But can't our society APPRECIATE our differences and history instead of trying to whitewash everything to appeal to the masses? Our country had separate bathrooms for Whites and Blacks. I'm Black. I make fun of it. (It makes people uncomfortable but what the hell?) Comments?

I have sought to encourage acceptance of Muslims in my life and in this forum. Earlier today I asked a question about the apparent harshness of Shariah Law, hoping that some Muslims would say that its more strident elements were not applicable in modern society. If you like, you can review the question here:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=An7Z.KufmQVtmpdt359jr.Lsy6IX?qid=20061122092124AAdAdRc

Instead of reassurance, what met me were simple clarifications that declared the punishments were warranted and, to the writers, desirable.

I am truly trying to remain supportive of Islam's place in a multicultural society, but these answers are making it a struggle. Are there no Muslims who consider the harsher elements of Shariah antithetical to freedom and dignity, particularly for women?
Is it the duty of every Muslim to adhere to Shariah?

It has been my observation through my many years of schooling in Oxford that Christians are deficient in intelligence. This is a fact that cannot be falsified. We need to introduce rigorous science courses for Christians. You parents are not equipping your child properly by instilling this horrid fantasy about Christ into their infantile mind. You shouldn't introduce religiosity until your kin reaches 18 years old.
Please do not answer my question with hostility!
You Christians have no respect for your elders!
Its a good riddannce that you Christians emigrated to the United States!
