I'm a straight girl, and good friends with a gay guy. He tells me that he's only attracted to men, but he is constantly calling certain girls hot, and I suspect that he has a crush on me. He gets jealous when I talk about other guys, he gives me hugs, he tries to hold my hand in public, and he tells me that I'm sexy. So is he completely gay, and is he attracted to me?

Just to clear up a few of your a questions, the guy aforementioned is not at all a drag queen, in fact, some people aren't aware of the fact that he's gay.

You should have told us what he looks like. If he looks like a drag queen, I doubt he is faintly interested of you. In my country, gay men who are loud and proud do things like regular women do. What do girls do? Compliment each other (you look hot in those tight jeans, can i use it?), kiss on the cheek, hug. Gay people are expressive and a bit physical. Do not make an issue out of it.

Gay guys can find women sexy, but that doesn't mean that they want to be the one to have sex with them. If he is getting jealous when you talk about other guys, maybe he is thinking about the guy instead of you. If you are good friends with him, he is attracted to you for who you are as a person, and that doesn't mean that he is sexually attracted to you.

when he calls you hot that means he thinks ur pretty and probley wants a compliment back. holding ur hand is just something they do, many girls who are just friends - hold hands - and hes more feminine so. When he says ur sexy - he means it - your sexy - but not in a way that would mean - like - he likes you and wants sex. that you haev a sex appeal which he thinks would help you score guys.

If he says he's gay, I'd take him at his word. What would he have to gain by lying about it? And as for being confused, most people tend to go in the other direction and say they are heterosexual or bisexual when they're really gay.
I'd say he considers you a very close friend, and yes it could be a crush - but a crush of a completely non-sexual nature. When I was in high school, I had a very intense friendship with a lesbian. A lot of people thought we were boyfriend and girlfriend, because we were inseparable.
