Doing a research project from an objective point of view to determine if there is any factual evidence to back up this claim, or if it is simply a stereotypical opinion. I am looking for any references to objective analysis, not racist or stereotypical claims. Thanks.

My 21 year old daughter has came to me with this question" why are all the good lookin guys that I am attracted to and enjoy spending time with turn out to be homosexual". I am not sure how to answer, first of all, I am alot older and have not been in the dating world in about 15 yrs. Secondly, if I had the choice of hanging out with girls that tend to be petty and competitive or a gay guy which usualy are more emotionally geered to handle friendships and not competitive like women, I would choose the guy. However, I am older and prefer an good conversation with laughs, rather than the college drama. Can anyone let the old mom in on some advice... oh yeah, she is very beautiful, smart and kind. I think that may be part of the issue is her kind heart and friendliness.

Because so many families are dysfunctional to some degree will you look forward to the occasion or attend out of a sense of duty?

One of our deacons Andy DeMello physically abused a child in an act of rage by choking and strangling him. We're trying to cover this up and save face rather than punish him. We don't want to let everyone know we are practicing injustice and covering up an evil deed. Are we violating the following Scriptures?

1 Timothy 3:8
Deacons, likewise, are to be men worthy of respect, sincere, not indulging in much wine, and not pursuing dishonest gain.

1 Timothy 3:10
They must first be tested; and then if there is nothing against them, let them serve as deacons.

1 Timothy 5:20
Those who sin are to be rebuked publicly, so that the others may take warning.

Serious question. It seems African-American is the most popular and PC term today but most of my fellow Americans of this race are no more "African" than I am European. Sometimes the terms black and white are used but actually actually we're varying shades of brown. I'm considered Caucasian or Caucasoid so I was curious if refering to someone as ***** or ******* was offensive.

I'm sick of being in pain and having to hide my my feelings. sick of living a lie. sick of standing next to the person I would die for and pretending that they mean nothing to me. its so exhausting. I know I'm not the only one that has felt this way but how do u get over it. Since I'm going to hell for being gay anyway should I just kill myself?

Does anyone have a copy of the Partisan Song, which is a Holocaust Rememberance day song, in Hebrew? the original lyrics are in Yiddish, but there was a version in Hebrew of it, and I can't seem to find it anywhere. I don't want someone to transalate it, I could do that, but there was a real version that rhymed. I know the first line is "Al nah tomar, hinay darkee ha'akhronah".

Here's two verses of the Yiddish version, maybe someone will recognize it.

Zog nit kaynmol az du geyst dem letstn veg
Khotsh himlen blayene farshteln bloye teg,
Kumen vet noch unzer oysgebenkte shoh,
S'vet a poyk ton undzer trot - meer zaynen doh!

Fun grinem palmen-land biz vaytn land fun shney,
Meer kumen on mit undzer payn, mit undzer vey,
Un vu gefaln iz a shprits fun undzer blut,
Shprotsn vet dort undzer gvura undzer mut.

Why is it that it's acceptable for anyone and everyone to use racial epithets against whites, be it jokingly, casually, or offensively, but if it's the other way around, it's a top news story?

The whole "because whites were so bad in the past" is a ridiculous excuse, and not an answer.

I have spent my life dreaming of being an astronaut and when i finally get a job at nasa I couldn't have been happier. The time has finally come for me to go into space but I have a problem. You see, during the last trip, one of the other astronauts came into contact with and swore allegiance to an alien overlord. I'm the only one he told. If I tell the other astronauts, they will surely cancel my trip into space, but if I don't tell, who knows what plan this other man is doing for the alien overlord. The results could be catastrophic. Do I give up my dream to possibly prevent a world calamity?

First off, I am not one.

But I did reply to one about 2 hours ago with what I considered an intelligent, sarcastic response.

Now all record of that is gone.

It seems to me the way to get rid of these people is not to report them to Yahoo! and have their idiotic questions and remarks deleted but rather when you see such a question just never respond to it. If you all did that, they'd soon tire of the game and look elsewhere for their "fun".

So what do you think about this?

Every funeral I've ever been to, the Preacher always speaks of how untimely the persons death was. How can that be if it is all in God's "plan"? If religious people really believe what they read in that black book, then no matter what the cause of death (natural causes, murder, cancer, AIDS or spread across about 1/4 mile by train), a person's death is not untimely...it was meant to be that way. So why don't they just come out and say it?!?
