Give a biblical scripture in your answer

I should have said for Christians only, but other people's opinions are fine. The reason for the ? is that so many go by the rules and traditions of a particular faith. Why are they so different and yet some are surprisingly the same?

fiveshift contradicts himself. There's either one way or many ways and first he says the bible says one and then he says everyone can choose their own. If u don't beleive the bible , don't use it in your answer

Do all roads lead to Heaven?

The problem is there seems to be to many roads marked with Heaven these days.

In Matthew 7:13, 14 instructs us to “Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide, and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter by it:. For the gate is small, and the way is narrow that leads to life, and few are those who find.

Now that’s some scary stuff “ few are those who enter by the narrow gate”.

The problem is that the wide gate is marked with Heaven and is labeled under all of the different religions in the world, each one proclaiming that they have the way to eternal life. Why do so many people fall into the trap?

There may be several roads at one point in the process, but they all join a single path to heaven and Jesus is the only doorway through. The reason for the several roads is that each individual responds to a different thing. One scripture showing this--and that there is more than one way to reach people--is in Jude:

"Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh." Jude 21-23

The whole idea of different roads to Heaven negates the idea of finding a definition only in the Bible. In other words, the practice of Biblical religions represents one road to Heaven. The Torah, the Quoran are two others.
Only religious arrogance allows one to think theirs is the only road.

We are an accomidating society. Whatever suits me is the best for me. Well to a lot of people , Jesus being the one way to heaven doesn't suit them so they go to a religion that is best for them. It clearly says in the Bible in John 14:6 (Whole Chapter)
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Simple and basic.

There may be many roads, but there is only ONE way to heaven..
That WAY IS JESUS
John 14:4-7

You know the way to the place where I am going."
Thomas said, "Lord, we don't know where you are going. So how can we know the way?"
Jesus answered, "I am the way. I am the truth and the life. The only way to the Father is through me. If you really knew me, then you would know my Father too.
. Want to know the way home to God? It's Jesus!

I don't know. "Heaven can be entered only through the narrow gate! The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide enough forall the multitudes who choose it's easy way. But the Gateway to Life is small, and the road is narrow, and only a few ever find it." Matt. 7: 13-14...Life Application Bible

I don't need a biblical scripture because the bible is only ONE way to get to heaven. Think about it logically: Heaven is a BIG place, wouldn't you say? All those souls and GOD there, it MUST be an immense place. A place that big, well, there's got to be more than a few ways to get there.

Blessed be.

Why would you give biblical scripture to support the answer that there are multiple roads to heaven? The bible states that there's only one path.

I personally believe that each person's path is the right path for that peson. So there.

"I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold. They too will recognize my voice and I will bring them in. There is to be but one flock, with one shepherd." Holy Bible, John, Chapter 10 <------- To me, this has always meant that there are people out in the world other than Christians & Jews who are truly God's beloved--those of other faiths. SO there's never been a distinction for me-- people might know Christ by different names & faces, but all in all, it's the same God we all are talking to-- only one God hears us & loves us all.

To Be Completly Honest I don't know... My grandmother raised me to believe in Heaven and Hell and there is only one way to get there. Don't have my bible any where near me but i'll give it a try.

There is only one road to heaven and that is through God himself. If we believe in him and have faith in him and know that he shed his Good Blood for us sinners, That's our way into the Kingdom of God!
