The devil believe in God. James 2: 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. To be a Christian you must believe and trust in what the Lord Jesus Christ did for you on the cross. He died for your sins, He was buried and took your sins away and He rose again the third day for your justification. 1 Corinthians 15: 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15: 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Romans 4: 25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

I am a Christian and a Catholic, but i disprove of the going around telling people to be christians approach. Would you believe a reason to join Islam if someone just went up to you and said, Islam is very important and you should believe in Allah!? You have to show people that Christianity is the way other than just telling people it. Jesus did not just tell people to believe, he performed meracles to show them to believe!

No it's not. Whether a deity is real is beside the point, religion is made by humans, so Christianity was made by people, it's not that important.
