Why do some adore the idea that God can eternally damn his own children for a simple act of belief or non-belief when these same people would be appalled if their neighbor did something similar? Is eternal torturing of a soul for merely disbelieving something or disagreeing with our father a Christian virtue? Is it out of love or fear that people worship such a God? Perhaps this explains our tolerance and acceptance of President's Bush's policy on torture?

Honestly, is the American Education system that lacking?

Questions and answers claiming that Evolution states we came from monkey's come at least 10 times a day on here.

You can't possibly be that uneducated. No one can be.

Yall are scaring the daylights out of me. My husband is American and I've been considering moving down there because there are better job oppurtunities (I'm Canadian) than anything in my area.

But I'm getting scared. If my kids (if/when we have any) actually go to school and are actually get taught that we come from monkey's, even though it's incredibly wrong, I don't think I want them to go to school there.

I'm not trying to be rude. Really I'm not. But the more I see those types of posts, the more worried it makes me.

We DO NOT come from monkeys. Evolution doesn't even remotely state that.

Please please do your proper research. Evolution teaches that monkey's, apes, and humans all came from a common ancestor.

I wish to christen my son for a number of reasons even though I do not attend church. I have been Christened myself and I do believe and pray regularly but I feel that some people may think I am hypocritical.

I think it's going to be a self fulfilling prophecy. No, not the return of Jesus or anything like that, but that the clash between religions will climax in a nuclear/bio/chemical apocalypse.

Talking about Stephen in Acts 7
"55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God."

Please tell me what you think it means. I believe it is showing that the Son and Father are not the same person...what do you think?

everything as "bc" before Christ and "ad" after death of Christ and why did this ever begin if His death and resurection did not occur,were that many people wrong?When He raised Lazuras from the dead while many people watched and Lazuras was stinking from decoposition,how can this be explained?Dont you think it is harder with the evidence,to prove this did not happen than it did ? Okay, here's the deal. I'm a manager of a small 3 person department. I have this one girl in my department that has really bad body odor. She's the nicest person in the world. I don't want to hurt her feelings! I also don't want her to quit. We work in a small inclosed office, and sometimes the smell is so bad, that I have leave on an "errand" to just get away from it. I'm bad at telling people things like this, and the HR person for my company was helpful, but not really. Any good TACTFUL ways that I can handle this??

I have now decided to devot my life to Our Lord Jesus Christ. But I am ashamed to say this buut I am worried about what all of my friends are going to say as none of them are Christians.
