I know that people keep asking this, and I have to through it up again:

The bashers get MORE responses to their questions than that of more "actual" LGBT questions. I look at the recent bashers getting 14+ response and other people getting just 2 or maybe none at all.

Who are we here to help?

Look, I know, certainly, how tempting it can be to respond to them (and on occasion have), but why give all of our attention to them?! Since we know who they are, and since most of them can condense into one person, barring random bashers, why continue to gratify them?

My daughter plays soccer and there are 10 girls on her team. Their last game is next Saturday. Yesterday I was out doing some errands and passed a sports restaurant that her coach and his wife enjoy. I decided (on my own) to get a $50 gift certificate to give to the coach next week. Today at soccer I told the parents about it and asked if everyone wanted to chip in $5. All but 3 did - they don't think it's necessary to give him a gift - although I disagree (since he is doing it for free - he is one of the players uncles and a great coach), that is their opinion.

My question is - when I present the gift certificate next week in a card, should I just sign it from the team or write the individual players names down who did chip in? Thanks for your help :)

It just seems like the logical, ethical and moral thing to do. And I know that it is hard for some people becuase it can be rather expensive based on how you chose to be one, but for the most part it seems rather practical. So why not? Its higly econmical and it seems christian too since your not killing anymore. Surely you could give up something that tastes good for the benefit of society?

I believe everything happens here on earth even after we die. Although this is a small theroy of mine that I haven't fully researched. Like if an animal dies on the side of the road everything that it was composed of that made it that animal decomposes and breaks apart and joins the rest of the earth. How 'bout it, makes sense? What do you think?

First of all, let me clear up that I am straight and I openly support my gay friends. I believe in equal humor rights for everybody regardless of race, religion, sexuality, or whatever reason. Secondly, let me state that my boyfriend likes to make fun of me because of this. He calls me gay (yes, that's why I am asking this here). I don't understand why he does this. I never express interest in women. Let me just say that's not the only name-calling he has done recently-he has called me annoying, childish, and unnatractive because of other reasons. Has his humor stepped over the line to verbal abuse? Please help. I have been with him for 4 years, and recently he has been doing all of this. I try to talk to him about the hurtful things he says to me, but he thinks I am being "naggy" and not "humorous" and that I need to "grow up". Serious answers appreciated.

... are committed to the idea that marriage is the only right place for a sexual relationship (for myself), and can't meet anyone appropriate without moving, and can't move for 5 years? It's a tough situation, and I imagine that there are people of various faiths who have similar problems. It's a little like serving a prison term, in an otherwise nice place, of course. What does one do? And please don't suggest the internet, it hasn't played out at all well. I'm looking for coping mechanisms people have used successfully. Or even if this problem is more or less common than I think it is.

Why must we call someone a disloyal self proclaimed member of liberalism, conservatism, or any other philosophy or party?

Why do we defend the indefensible and let our hate lead us to believe the improbable about our supposed enemies?

Why is admitting to uncertainty such a bad thing?

Why do we attack those with a righteous lecture for us as being immature? Is it not we who are being immature when excuse our rude behavior and amorally claim it as appropriate?

Why do we obfuscate so much?

the bible He says speaking from heaven Rev. 1vs1-- about our salvation if we will pray and ask him into our heart -
Revelation 3vs19&20 saying he loves each one of us and knocks on our heart to come in and deliver from sin and become our friend.

thanks alot

why do you worship the "Human" form of god? you are worshiping what god was "the human god" (or the idea of a human god) why are you worshiping the human when you could worship the body-less omnipotent Lord God, i am preaching my beliefs to you this time. Why would you worship a Human just because "GOD" rose his son from the dead? jesus NEVER said to worship him he said to worship his father through his teachings.
