It just seems like the logical, ethical and moral thing to do. And I know that it is hard for some people becuase it can be rather expensive based on how you chose to be one, but for the most part it seems rather practical. So why not? Its higly econmical and it seems christian too since your not killing anymore. Surely you could give up something that tastes good for the benefit of society?

Replica meat products are more expensive than normal ones which is why I said that and we are not eating animals that keep others in check we are eating farm raised toruted animals that are never EVER put into nature.

I am not saying it is unatural to eat meat. But there is scientific prrof that our bodies can sustain ourselves without it. Technoloy and science has advanced far enough for us to go without it so why not? We dont need it anymore. Its not neccasary for our health in fact it can be highly benefical to go without it as vegetarians have lower risks of cancer and of high blood pressure and heart disease. And the reason its econmical is that more calories and food energy in grain is invested into a cow than we eat back. So it becomes unecomcal to raise meat for food. And only meat substitues are more expensive which is why i included that becuase most vegetarisn enjoy the taste of meat so i fugured most people would want that if they went off of meat.

There would be no world hunger if we were all vegetarians. It takes 8 pounds of protein from wheat to make one pound of protein from meat. With the food we spend to feed cattle, we can use it to feed the hungry.
Alas, I am a hypocrit...I'm not a vegetarian.

There are still health reasons to eat meat - but we do eat far too much of it in general. Humans have digestive systems and teeth that are designed for an omnivorous diet that included a certain amount of meat.
I have no problem with killing for meat. I actually hunt to get my own - doesn't all come from a supermarket.
In some cases eating meat is economical - it is the most viable "crop" to raise in some more arid areas. It can be made more economical and healthier too by being range or grass fed as opposed to grain fed in a feedlot. But that is a different topic.

Humans need to consume meat and meat products to ensure they get a sufficient amount of vitamin B-12. Vegetarians and Vegans can and should take supplemental vitamins since they are mostly at risk of developing a demylinating disease like Multiple Sclerosis.
Vitamin B12 is an important vitamin for maintaining healthy nerve cells and it aids in the production of DNA and RNA, the body's genetic material. It also works closely with vitamin B9 (folate) to regulate the formation of red blood cells and to help iron function properly in the body. Furthermore, vitamin B12 is needed for Calcium absorption. Deficiencies of vitamin B12 are usually caused by a lack of intrinsic factor, a substance that allows the body to absorb vitamin B12 from the digestive system. Such a deficiency can cause a range of symptoms such as fatigue, shortness of breath, diarrhea, nervousness, numbness or tingling sensation in the fingers and toes. People with the blood disorder pernicious anemia do not produce sufficient intrinsic factor and must take high doses of vitamin B12 to maintain their health. Others at risk for B12 deficiency include vegetarians who follow a strict vegan or macrobiotic diet.

I totally agree with you, but the human body was not made to consume meat. In one of the posts a person mentioned that the Bible condones eating meat. Adam and Eve did not eat meat when they were in the Garden of Eden. It wasn't until after the flood that God did condone eating meat, because that was the only thing that was around that was eatable. Everything plant and tree and shrub were gone. Then at Mt. Sinai did God give the rules to what meats were clean for man to eat.
God created man to be companions and caretakers for the animals He created in the first place. That was one of the many reasons He created Adam and Eve for while in the Garden of Eden.

Adam the world has to have predators. that is why not just humans but also animals eat other animals, its part of the cycle of life. there is many areas on earth where larger animals and predators have all been destroyed and now the small animals are over populating and starving due to a lack of resources, as there is no predators keeping their population in check.

I'm sorry, but I believe in eating meat, and no, the Christian faith does not say it's a sin to eat an animal. I believe it's a sin to kill an animal needlessly or to be cruel or torture an animal. But to kill it because you need to eat it, that's a different story.
Should we train all the wild animals to be vegans as well, because they kill for food?

Because our body was made to eat meat.
The Bible clearly condones eating meat. If you believe in the Bible, it seems like God made our bodies to be fueled, in part, by meat. If you don't believe in the Bible, the evolution resulted in a body designed to eat meat.
Either way, it is natural to eat meat. Don't look down on us for doing what is natural.
How can you say in on sentence that is is rather expensive & the next, that is highly economical?

I think a better solution would be to use all the medical expertise we're gaining and start growing meat. I know it sounds gruesome but it covers the concerns of people who enjoy meat, and those of people who don't want to see animals killed anymore.

Humans are omnivores. Why are you trying to push others into believing what you believe? Don't you think everyone has to make that decision for themselves? I'm not trying to offend you, but - it's wisest to mind what is on your own plate rather than trying to tend what is on everyone elses.
