The Bible states that Jesus was a man with wooly hair...and he was a Jew born in the middle east. If Mel Gibson portrayed Him historically correct, do you think people would accept the movie the way they did?

If sheep go to Heaven and goats go to Hell, is that fair to the goats? They can't help it if they are born a goat? What are the responcibilities of the sheep concerning the goats? Anyone can answer this. THANKS!

I've been told that females have been punished with menstrual cycles, childbirth, and menopause because of Eve's sin, but does this really make any sense? After all, Homo sapiens isn't the only animal species in which the females have menstruation or livebirth. Also, what about the animal species that reproduce sexually but don't have menstruation or livebirth? And what about the species that reproduce asexually? Does it make sense for God to punish humans and some other animal species but not others?

It's done often without anesthesia from what I understand! I don't really believe most Christians are having it done because of covenant. This is mutilation! A boy could DIE from this unnecessary surgical procedure! There are a lot of complications and deformities that can result also. Do we really believe boys are born with some dirty part that has to be removed? Is this about funding???!

...if you were walking down a street one night and saw a young woman being mugged, violently molested or raped by a couple of thugs? Would you interject, walk away, hide and call the police, yell for assitance, what?

I'd like to think I'd dive in there and kick some ***, but in reality I think I'd be more likely (assuming I was alone) to duck out of sight and call the Police, or, if circumstances allowed, run for the nearest shop/pub/club and gather up a bunch of bruisers.

What do you think you would honestly do? And would you hang around waiting for applause or disappear mysteriously in to the night?

If I were to take the former course of action and unleash my fists of fury (make believe, of course), I think I would be afraid of being branded a vigilante who couldn't keep his nose out of 'someone else's business', as happened recently in my neighbourhood.

Your thoughts?

PS, serious answers only please.

I heard that it is a manner that kids can only knock on other people's doors on Haloween if the doors or the yard have some Haloween decorations.

Is that true?

If someone does not want kids to come to the house, then, what does he needs to do?

Do people normally know about this manner?

Thanks.

I truly believe we come to the physical plane to understand the nature of love and connectedness by its absence (at times) and to understand cause and effect by experiencing time, which does not exist on the physical plane. We are God experiencing herself, as the saying goes. What's your view?

If you want my opinion I'd say yes- people shouldn't be forced to believe something either by a lack of alternative or persecution. We should never go against our consciences- if we can't agree with something- we shouldn't be forced to go along with it.

Apparently the Saudis didn't sign the UN thing on human rights in 1948 because they didn't agree with freedom of religion. So I'm especially interested in what Muslims have to say. If Islam is true, it should be able to stand up to criticism and shouldn't be forced on anyone. Doesn't the Qu'ran say "there is no compulsion in religion"?

I'm a single, sexually active gay man. I use a phone dating line and a couple of web sites to meet people.

I've noticed a lot of guys lately listing "body contact" as something they are into.

It seems odd that this just started popping up.

I assume if you're having sex your bodies must be in contact, right?

I know that most of them are referring to cuddling, massage etc.
