Every year at Halloween, I have treats for the kids, of course, but I also provide something to put a little friendly scare into their parents.

Two years ago, it was...bathroom scales!

Last year, I showed them the cost of a four-year college education for a child now 8 years old (THAT was a scare!).

I'm stuck for something this year. Any suggestions...?

Thanks!

The title quote is from the book Illuminations,by Stephen C. Paul and Gary Max Collins.

How do you apply this to your life?
Is this even possible??

Elaborate for me, if you will please.

Even if you don't believe in God, even if the Bible really is just a 'fairy tale', wouldn't it still be a great book to follow morally? I mean it has alot of great teachings in there about life and love and relationships. 'Thou Shall not kill' can just be turned into to murder anyone. capish?

if you lose a loved one senselessly, suddenly in an accident, tragically (freak or act of nature) or when you are grieving, the friends of the same faith gave your no help.......

would you lose your faith in your god? in yourself? (if u are an atheist) & in life in general? OR would you bounce back & be more fervent.

ps, we lost brogpet1of10? we have not lose faith finding him.

This is my list:
Sexual slavery and general slavery, having to share your husband with other wombed men, prostitution, contempt, enforced marriage, exclusion from politics, beating up, covering up (contempt of the body), exclusion from the priesthood, exclusion from education, wolf-whistles (no, we don't like them), being forced to hide away during menstruation (in some countries), overwork (yes, men with wombs are assumed to have the strength to go on working at home after a day's work away, whereas men without wombs need to rest), incision (in some countries you have your clito cut off and your p***** sewn up and if you don't, you're dirty and unfit for consumption), exclusion from an "eternal life" (at one point the Church debated on whether women had souls or not...) Are we ready for complete parity yet?

Pulling into my morning gas station, this chick was on my *** (my biggest pet peeve) so I slowed down and she got majorly pissed. I just laughed at her in the store. She thought she was beauty queen too. I was thinking....Thank God I am not her boyfriend. She looked like a spoiled little brat.

I don't know if this is specific to Australia but in many public toilets we have small boxes of toilet paper that come out one at a time. They are known as Gibson Leaflets and they are like using tracing paper on your butt.

I need a photo of the box for a comedy thing I'm doing. But I can't seem to google them.

The fact is I am really shy, so shy in fact that a few months ago I couldn't even talk on the phone. (Well now I can thank goodness.) But it is really ruining my life. It wasn't so bads since last year I had two friends at college but now they have gone I'm all alone and I have no one so i feel really lonely. But the worst thing is that I really really like this guy, and I did talk to him last year but now I'm scared he isn't the same person. Also I used to see him everyday because he was in two of my courses but now I will only see him on Wednesday and Friday which means I feel pushed to talk to him so I get scared clam up and do nothing. Plus this other guy had hijacked him as a friend so now I can't get near him. I don't know whether to just give up and forget him, but I can't stop thinking about him. I feel so lonely and confused I'm thinking of leaving this college and starting again somewhere else, but it would mean I'd have to settle somewhere else. Can anyone help with any of .

I once asked a child why he didn't believe in Santa anymore, and he answered "because I got a stupid football and I wanted a red rider BB gun".

Do you think everyone who doesn't believe in Santa disbelieve because they are mad at him?

About 15 years ago, something happened to me to make me remember some horrible things that happened to me growing up. I blocked out memories of my oldest brother molesting me from a very early age. He was physically abusing his wife and I walked into their house, when he saw me he attacked me. This brought all the memories back. I confronted him and told him I remembered everything then went to my parents. I also remembered trying to tell my mother when I was young. She told me never to say those things again and to stop trying to get him in trouble. He later showed up and admitted everything he did to me. My problem is my mother thinks I should forget and forgive, but I can.t stand to be in the same room with him. Our mother is sick with MS, and wants all of us together for Thanksgiving. Last year she tricked me into coming saying he wouldnt be there. I don't know what to do....He physically amkes me sick and I really think I hate him. Am I wrong for standing my ground? Any Help !!!
