when a person of one faith attacks a person of another faith the first person cries foul the loudest when the second person fights back? ...(corezink)
i think it's a bit hypocritical of someone to whine about something if they did indeed instigate it in the first place.

My husband and I are only 26. He went today( without consulting me) and took out a HUGE policy on himself. I do not know how to feel about that. It feels like WOW! I don't even want to think about that.

Came upon this quote recently:

"The trouble is that God in this sophisticated, physicist's sense bears no resemblance to the God of the Bible or any other religion. If a physicist says God is another name for Planck's constant, or God is a superstring, we should take it as a picturesque metaphorical way of saying that the nature of superstrings or the value of Planck's constant is a profound mystery. It has obviously not the smallest connection with a being capable of forgiving sins, a being who might listen to prayers, who cares about whether or not the Sabbath begins at 5pm or 6pm, whether you wear a veil or have a bit of arm showing; and no connection whatever with a being capable of imposing a death penalty on His son to expiate the sins of the world before and after he was born."-Richard Dawkins, world famous ethologist, evolutionist, and author of the book "The God Delusion"

Is this a logical argument? What do you think?

Every day it ends up being this big fight. And people ask questions trying to insult everyone else.

I'm begging you all, can't we try and get along?

Are you really entertained insulting one another?

I'm not, lets have an intellectual discussion on here when we ask these questions, ask some good questions please.

It would be more entertaining.

I'm just so sick of everyone insulting everyone. Get a grip act like an adult.

I understand why many do not want religion taught or endorsed in school, I agree with that stance, but why are many American children denied the right to practice and wear signs of their faith? Is that not their right as well? This applies to Muslimas who are not allowed to wear hijab, Christians who cannot wear Crosses/Crucifixes, and all other faiths as well?

Is it because they cannot get their children to listen to them, so they want the school to take responsibility for raising their children? Are their kids so undisciplined that they cannot get them to go to church or even teach them the tenets of their religion and therefore want the school to do it for them?

Do they mean others don't believe in god or just non-believers in their flavour of insanity?
Why this my dad is stronger than your dad complex?
They have to top each other all the time, if one says my dad jumped in the ocean and came out the river the other will say, my dad jumped in the ocean and came out of the tap!
