Don't waste your time my friend, Not having a reaction to them at all is the best thing. If you feel you have to say something just point out to them that they are nothing and they are so insignificant that you can't be bothered to acknowledge them. Really , the best thing to do if you can pull it off is to crack up laughing at them. Don't say anything , just laugh your butt of and point .
What you should do is get some pride in being poor . Sound crazy? So many of the greatest people in history have been poor .Rent some movies with the main characters who are poor or read some books.Read The Outsiders, You can be proud that you are not some spoiled brat idiot. If you get that pride going it will show and people will notice that confidence . You will get respect.

There really is no come back when the other kids make fun of you for being poor. It is best to ignore them. Do you feel that being called a poor is an abuse? Don't reduce yourself to the status of a joker who says,'Yes I am a midget but I do not like being called one" If you react that way they will know that you beecom peevish for being called a ;poor. They may take more pleasure in denouncing you as poor. If you keep quite meekly and not retaliate nervously by and by they will be convinced that they cannot upset you. Their attentions will turn towards other diversions.

Look up on the internet to see who some of the richest people in the world are. Then read their bio and see how many started poor. Then look the kids in the eye and start naming names, companies, and assets. Makes a poor kid think of a brighter future.
Good luck with the brats at school.

I wish people were not so cruel to each other. I know that nothing I can say will make you feel better. It really is best to ignore people that act like that as hard as it may be. It may be a long term solution but stay in school and go to college. You can get loans to finish school. Good luck....I hope you make the right choices. Money isn't everything......love and faith gets you through the hard times.

keep saying "so?" after every thing they say no matter what...they'll get tired of coming up with things to say especially when they see that you aren't phased by it anymore. That's all they're after really...they r just feeding off of your reaction.
