Is it just me that I'm noticing the tension that's between the Christians against non-believers and other spiritual groups against the Christians for being so hateful? How can Christians be so hateful and negative about other people's beliefs?

It seems like the Christians are picking fights with other people minding their own business; and now (as a spiritual non-Christian person) I am starting to really DIS-like them whereas before I had no opinion either way. I'm starting to get riled up and resentful of them. Is this just me?

Are we all about to throw-down? It's getting kind of tense.

He was one of those guys to tells everyone they are going to hell. He got in my face and told me I was going to hell and it really pissed me off. When he looked away from me I punched him right in the face and knocked him out cold. Should I have done that?

Now be honest: when you picture Adam & Eve in your mind, are they white people with blond or light brown hair? Are they your own race at all? How do you picture them?

I ask this because someone just answered another question about evolution, with an explanation they claimed allowed both the bible story AND evolution to be true (which frankly is impossible)...in her version we all still came from Adam & Eve, it just happened a long time ago. Yet there is conclusive scientific evidence that all humans can trace their ancestry through DNA back to early humans that came out of middle Africa, and that those early humans were...BLACK. Yes, black. All us white folks descended from Africans with dark skin.
But somehow I got the idea that many if not all US christians still think Adam & Eve were white. Do you?

The music the majority of them listen to= Promotes violence. not real music, referred to as "crap music".

Their clothes or the trends they follow= Gangsta-ish, non-classy.

Their slang or what the majority of them speak= Deemed un-educated sounding.

Their food= Fattening, unhealthy.

Their curves= Not thick but fat.

Hair= Un-attractive.

Unique names= Not original, but ghetto.


It just seems now that I think about it, everything they do or like it is deemed a 'no no'.

I personaly believe in God. But don't confuse me for being biased or ignorant, I love to see the world from all points of view. Hell, I don't even consider myself to be a true christain, simply because not everything in the christain religion I buy. But I do belive in god and the after life and such.
I want to know why people don't put there faith in anything. I want the thinking behind it. Cause even if you don't belive in god wouldn't it be nice to think that there was one? Any thoughts would be nice.

I'm an artist, well I was one but never pursued it much because I was told to get into a solid career. That was in the 70's. So I worked in the financial fields and odd jobs for years. If time and money allowed I would do more stained glass work and build wild, fun and interesting sculptures, like the crazy old lady from the movie "Twister" Just wondering whar others want to do.....

Would it really be such a good thing if the whole world became Christian?

If part of the duty of a Christian is to spread the word, then you need us non-Christians in order to do try to do your job. Else, you wouldn't be upholding one of your duties as a Christian. So you actually need us in the world, and turning everyone Christian wouldn't be all good, right?
