If she's wearing a low cut blouse, bends over forward, and you find you don't have the least interest in checking out her clevage, you really can be her friend.
Of course, it also means you're gay.

A man can be just friends with a woman. Most women can't be just friends with a man. The reason is that a man is not always associating those kinds of romatic feelings when involved with a girl. Women tend to have those feelings. You can date a guy for 10 years - and he'll run off and marry someone else when you were his "best friend." Why? Because guys are not wired like women. They could have a slew of friends where they are girls and he doesn't have an issue - while those girls while not around him are ooohing and ahhing and guessing on which one he really likes. A guy can have half a dozen girls on a string getting jealous of each other and cat fighting and not even realize he's doing it - just thinking they are nice friends. The thing is that men are usually not mature enough to understand this concept and just go on with these "friendships" thinking it's not a big deal - while the girl may be desperately in love waiting for a ring because he's so sweet. But a guy can be sweet and think nothing of it - while a girl thinks - he's telling her she is so special that she must be the one he really likes. There are other men - who will call your relationship friendship when they are really only after one thing - now those guys are truly dangerous and not worth your time. Those are the guys who can't be friends with a woman because they think friendship includes sex and everything else whenever it might happen and that's just purely pathetic and immature. As a woman I wouldn't stoop to the level of a guy like that and spend any time with him as anything.

Of course we can just be friends with a woman. But like somebody already said....we will always wonder. Some can just maintain it at a level of just wondering and not have to find out.

Uh, NO!!!! Havent you seen "When Harry Met Sally?" That shyt is true!! You cant be friends w/ women. You'd always want to bang them. Even if your not attracted to them at first, you'd eventually start looking for attractive things about them......and then would want to bang them.
I'm sorry, but I've never considered any of my female friends as....unbangable...

It depends on if the women is pretty or not. If she is pretty than no, but if she is ugly than maybe a man can be friends with a women.

Definitely, provided that they were not involved in a relationship prior to the friendship. If they were intimate, it would be difficult to then have a friendship and be comfortable around subsequent lovers and partners.

Absolutely. One of my best friends in the whole world is my former fiancee...we called off our engagement mutually because we knew it would not work long-term, and remained friends. We're both married (to others) now, more than 17 years later, we both have kids...we're godparents to each other's kids, our families get together frequently, we visit each others' parents ('cause we like them and they like us) -- and neither of our spouses, who know the whole story, are jealous.
