Since each religion can be traced back to Abraham, is it possible that they are ALL correct? Our human brains tend to believe there is only one way to an afterlife, but is it possible that God has actually given us more than one way to HIM, and that all 3 religions are with his blessing? I know that's thinking out of the box quite a bit, but I really want to make the right decision about my beliefs and asking these questions help me decide. I really appreciate your input. Sincerely, Robin

Then (for example) if a drunk driver hits and kills someone, isn't he just doing God's will?

I have this friend. We are currently pretty close. I see him almost everyday. We hang out and such. He's got a girlfriend, and has had a few before, and comes from a homophobic family. I however think he is gay. He calls me to have lunch and dinner a lot and only sees his girlfriend on fridays, which is far less than he sees and wants to hang out with me, and even when he's with her, he wants me to come too. He has asked me to go shopping with him too, but when we were there, he commented on how much he liked girl pants, and wished it was ok to wear them. I'm just confused cause i like him, and i want to be in a relationship, but i dont know if he's gay or not. I'd say he was, except for the girlfriends he's had.

It has for me...at first I was just a passive deist, but with all this discussion, I've really found myself as corny as that sounds. I have very open agnosticism, but no respect for religion beyond its metaphorical aspects.

The Royal Irish Regiment celebrate it BIG style every year but always with a sort service from the Padre to remind us why we celebrate. We are mixed races and colours and St Patrick would turn in his grave if he thought the Irish People were fighting amonst themselves/

time travellers en route to their destination? People can't accept that it's a slight error in temporal navigation, but can believe that it's a dead person!

Your thoughts on this... or alternative explanations for "ghosts" (apart from making people like Derek Acorah money)

Honestly, What have you read (book titles), who has taught you (Positions and titles), and what media have you searched (internet links) that have taught you what you know about the Mormons religion?

Im curious because I have a theory that there are two groups of people when it comes to Mormonism. Those who are opposed to it, and those who are for it (in the religious community). And the two groups VERY rarely cross each other. Those who are against it, only read and studdy how it is wrong never looking to see if it holds any truth. And those who are for it, only studdy why it is true never questioning any aspect, only really looking for more sources to rebuttle the "Anti's" with.

So those of you Against mormons, Have you ever tried to understand it (reading the book or mormon, Mormon Doctrine of Diety, Hugh Nibley, BH Roberts) open mindedly?

Those for Mormonism, have you ever read Anti-material (The God makers, and various other material on the internet) to try and disprove it?

Maybe you heard about the "Jesus Camp" where young children are exposed to Christianity and encouraged (some say pressured) to accept Christ, confess sins, worship to a picture of President Bush, etc. (to see a video on it: www.youtube.com/ watch?v=7UWIb4FwHPg).

Do you think there is (or should be) a certain age under which evangelism shouldn't be allowed? Is it unethical? Pointless? Exploitative? None of the above?

Obviously parents should decide this for their own kids but I am referring to times when parental consent isn't given or available.

Okay, I like girls and guys. Butr I think men are more attracted to me than women. Everyone says that I'm very attractive and sweet but for some reason a lot of girls don't apporach and they aren't agressive like the guys are. I thought it was because I'm very big-breasted and a lot of girls seem somewhat intimadated by that.

Mine would be pseudo-intellectuals because it is misused so often. It means smart person who disagrees with me to most of the people that use it and I think it's just a mindless insult.

Disregaurd question above. Answer the one below.
Why does a women epect there husband to work a 12 hr day, then come home and cook and clean?
If you dont have a job, youre a home maker, thats what you do. you clean for youre husband becouse he works his *** of for you.
Its a 2 way street 50/50.
!st of all you are not constantly working 12 hrs a day like youre husband does. He is at "WORK" not at home, if he is a mechanic he spent 12 hours, changeing somebodys brakes, radiator, transmission, front and rear shocks, installed 2 radios, and rotated someones tires. YOU, you cleaned up the bread crumbs from the sandwich you made, better clock that, Dont forget about cleaning the knife, clock that to, you clean the bathroom, clock 30 mins, you watch tv, clock 4 hrs, went and got a perm, Really hard work, clock that. 2 hrs. And if youre a good wife you MIGHT have cleaned up after youself all day.
Youre work load is not equivilent to his.

Did you see 'Jesus Christ" today ?

Seems like an odd question, except that Jesus Christ stated, 'that which you do to the 'least' of mine you do unto me', suggests that God has allowed you the opportunity to show your love of God by doing good to those who least can afford to return the favor.

An ingenious method of finding one's true love of others.

So did you see "Jesus Christ' today, and what did you do for him or her ?
