Since each religion can be traced back to Abraham, is it possible that they are ALL correct? Our human brains tend to believe there is only one way to an afterlife, but is it possible that God has actually given us more than one way to HIM, and that all 3 religions are with his blessing? I know that's thinking out of the box quite a bit, but I really want to make the right decision about my beliefs and asking these questions help me decide. I really appreciate your input. Sincerely, Robin

No.

That may sound a bit blunt, but your question "...is it possible that God has actually given us more than one way to HIM..." cannot be correct if Jesus is who He said He was.

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)

That is an exclusive claim, and made by Jesus Himself, not His followers. His followers agreed with Him by saying, "There is no salvation by anyone else, for there is no other name under heaven given among people by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)

Either Jesus lied, was a lunatic, or He is Lord, and meant what He said.

i imagine each man or woman ought to benefit tolerance from an early age. I blame churches, themselves...i imagine places of worship could prepare tolerance. I accept as true with you...they are ALL captivating religions, or perhaps although I completely admit i'm a Christian, I easily don't have any more some thing yet upmost recognize for Jews, Muslims, etc. I easily have acquaintances of many faiths and extremely extremely, at the same time as push includes shove, i have self belief all of us have self belief interior an same God...we only have diverse interpretations, etc. I easily have continually stated, i became born right into a Christian kin, hence; i'm a christian. yet, If I were born right into a Jewish kin, i'd be a Jew...and same with muslim. of direction you could replace religions alongside the way, yet enable's settle for it, maximum do not. ok...went off difficulty somewhat. it could be a acceptable international if each man or woman were tolerant of one yet another, highly the position faith is worried. yet, regrettably, i do not see that ever happening. a minimum of i'm at peace with how i think in course of others. :) good question..thanks for asking!

There is only one truth. There can be no different versions of the truth. You can work your way step by step amalgamating all religions if you like, but there is only one bridge, nevertheless.
Among the three, Judaism and Islam are mutually exclusive, one is true and the other false. When you consider that islam was founded by only one man and Judaism had many prophets that agreed with one another and continued the revelations of God, the probability works out higher in favour of Judaism. Especially when both lay claim to being descendants of the son (Isaac or Ishmael) that was first offered by Abraham to God in his test.
The Torah makes no explicit claim against Christ. You can believe that Christ is the Jewish Messiah or he is not. Judaism and Christianity do not contradict each other. Christianity only claims to replace the old law with a new, but does not destroy the old law(except for re-rendering of Jewish rituals and practices).

Jesus Christ is the divisive issue in all three religions.
The history is near the same.
The morals and ethics are near the same.

I will go slightly more in depth between Christians, and Muslims.
Christians have Jesus as God, Muslims have him as stating not a God, just a prophet out of his own mouth.
Both religions say there is only 1 God
both have the sin of blasphemy. On judgment day in Heaven both religions will ask Is Jesus God or not.,
your answer will send you to heaven or hell depending on the true religion.

As a Christian, I believe Jews are correct also , since it is the same God.

Of course they can be.

If we take Muslims, Jews, and Christians, and even if we add Buddhists and Wiccans and Hindus and others, we would find that most religions have quite a few similarities.

All of the above teach us to be as good or better to others as we would treat ourselves.

In their original interpretations, all of them teach peace and respect for the higher power.

All teach respect for the world around us, and respect for one's neighbors, and respect for self.

All ask us to be good people in our world and in our community.

Many call the deity "God", some give the deity a more specific name, some refer only to a "higher power" or a reference to nature. Could they all be the same thing?

But in each case, all of these religions are teaching respect for self, others, and the higher power. In each case, these religions teach us to do what is ethically right.

If you read the various teachings, you will find at the heart of the matter they are really rather similar. Sure, there are differences in the mode of worship, in the method of teaching, and in the methods used to show respect.

Does it really matter whether we worship a God in Heaven or a God in the stars; whether we fast during a particular month or time of year or day of the week; whether we worship by praying silently or shouting to the heavens or by chanting or whatever mode suits our local tradition; or what name we give to our book of ethical beliefs? I think you will find these religious paths to be more similar than you might think.

well, there's actually only one line of conduct started by Abraham, then followed by Moses, then Jesus adn finally Mohammed all blessings on them. if u have studied the principles they fought for, u'll discover it's a sort of continuation. Abraham brought the idea of worshipping a unique God along with a religion with rules, statements, texts and so on. but the message started with Moses, Jesus followed him, then Mohammed closed the process. each prophet brought something to make the message more sophisticated, because human societies developed themselves, many new concepts appeared, that's why a new message was needed, a deeper message each time to reach each individual's heart.
of course, therewere some differences due to people who misunderstood of the message at the time this very message was addressed to them, that's why the next prophet came to correct every deviation that happened before.
make ur own analysis to see.

Not really. Judaism leads to Christianity, but as far as they are concerned, Christians are worshipping a dead heretic.
Muslims say that Jesus is a true prophet, but they refuse to believe His Words. It's all about relationship with Jesus, ie God. Is Jesus a Liar, a Lunatic, or the Lord of All? Answer that, and you will find your place in eternity.

Nope. Islamic teaching differs significantly from Christianity based on the "newer" works and words of Muhammad. Jews did not accept Christ for what he was, the Savior. They're still waiting for the Savior to come and believe only the Old Testament teachings. So, they're not all right. Only one is.

I agree with u fully, since they trace back to Abraham. I believe they all worship the same God. The differences they have can be traced back to their cultural understanding of this God, and they all developed different stories to promote God. Who is to say that Mohammad and Jesus were actually two different people?

No, they're all completely different things. The Jews believe that Jesus isn't the Messiah, Christians believe Jesus is the Messiah, and Muslims hate both. So how could we all be correct?
