Q# 1. .Is converting to ISLAM by threat of death or other intimidation morally right? How can you be sure?

This is part one to another question to follow. Please give an explaination to this question and be honest. If there is a reference in the Quran or other source list it. I am looking for a LOGICAL explaination in reference to Allah and how we were made.

Your life was given as a test by God. Thats why humans have free will and Angels dont. In Islam you are free to follow whatever path you choose.

When you die your reckoning starts and you will be recompensed according to your deeds.

Forced conversions are contrary to the principle of free will and worship of God.


Having read your previous questions and answers I fear you are not really interested in genuine answers but you want an opportunity to bash muslims.

So do bear in mind the forced conversions of christianity and the present aggressive wars that are being carried out by christians in this world before you say anything. Oh and remeber the advice of jesus christ who you profess to follow-"Be sure to remove the speck of dust in your own eye before you point the finger at your brother" Peace

Even if Muslims wanted to use death threats they could not use them to spread Islam because the Qur’an says in the following verse:
“Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from error”
[Al-Qur’an 2:256]

It is the sword of intellect. The sword that conquers the hearts and minds of people. The Qur’an says in Surah Nahl, chapter 16 verse 125:
“Invite (all) to the way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching;and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious.”
[Al-Qur’an 16:125]

An article in Reader’s Digest ‘Almanac’, year book 1986, gave the statistics of the increase of percentage of the major religions of the world in half a century from 1934 to 1984. This article also appeared in ‘The Plain Truth’ magazine. At the top was Islam, which increased by 235%, and Christianity had increased only by 47%. May one ask, which war took place in this century which converted millions of people to Islam?

Today the highest muslim population is in Indonesia,may one ask which muslim army went to indonesia or threatened Indonesia.

God says in the Quran:

"Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects Taghut (evil) and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trust worthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things." (Qur'an 2:256)

It is not by threat of death. Allah lets you have a choice. In Christianity, jesus is God AND the son of God. How is this possible??? Islam is the only religion that makes sense. [to me, anyways] Allah is forgiving, too. There are so many things muslims are dealing with, that is't really their fault, you know?

there is no force in ISLAM....
QURAN verse 109
109:002] I worship not that which ye worship,

[109:003] And ye do not worship that which I worship;

[109:004] I shall never worship that which ye worship,

[109:005] Neither will ye worship that which I worship.

[109:006] To you be your religion; to me my religion

You see the QURAN did not say that the UNBELIEVERS be forced into ISLAM
