It is mentioned in many of them, but the translation has been altered over the years. Hell was not part of original christianity. The word comes from Hel, the norse goddess of the underworld. It replaced the word sheol in the old testament and geheena in the new testament. Sheol is the hebrew word for the grave. And geheena was a landfill outside jerusalem where the city's trash was burned and the bodies of executed criminals were disposed of. It isn't in the bible at all, it is in another entertaining work called "The Divine Comedy" by Dante Alagherii. The part regarding the devil and hell is called "Dante's Inferno" and it is entirely made up in his head, like the bible is, except that the bible doesn't go for attribution.

You can read the whole thing at the link below, it is really great literature, but hell still doesn't exist.
