In Revelation 22:16 Jesus is called the "bright and morning star," and in Isaiah Lucifer is referred to as the "son of the morning".
Kind of interesting eh?

It's been said that Korean-Americans are one of the most religious ethnic groups in America and I've also noticed it personally based on classmates and friends in California. Not only are they almost always Christian, which would be rather easy to explain, but they seem to be, in general, much more "into it" than almost any other "group" i know. Why is this? there must be some logical reason for it (such as something in Korean-American history).

I don't know how to ask this, but Adam had everything he needed and Eve had a womb and so it looks like, maybe, it was suppose to have happened.

I was reading a book on world religions and the author is quite biased against all religions that are not Christian. He says that New Agers (he includes Wiccans in this group) will argue that "Christians are so arrogant. What gives them the right to say that their way is the only way?"

His answer: New Agers are here accusing Christians of being arrogant because Christians believe in a way to God that is exclusive. In other words, arrogance is defined as holding a belief that is exclusive of other beliefs.

According to their own definition of arrogance, New Agers are then also arrogant. Their inclusiveness--their belief that all ways lead to God--EXCLUDES THE BELIEF that there is only one way to God.

I'm interested in reading your thoughts on this.

A lot of people I know are going through REALLY heavy stuff and tough times and trials and I have been through these trials too.

When I was a new chrisitian I was 16 and life was so much better now that I have accepted Christ and things were much simpler then.

And I am not complaining I know this is REAL life but I have a lot more resposbilites and work now that I am much older.

Sometimes I feel life should be fair that good people should get good things and people who are mean and not following God and huring and oppressing others should get bad things.

I did not expect certain finaincial hurts and struggles to come to me I cam from a upper middle class backround. I am rightoeusly angry of the hurt my church members are going through and they love God follow Jesus.

I realize there are trials but I want these people to have victory and succeed and be so happy.

What are godly biblical ways to handle that life is not fair and what are ways to renew my mind?

Christmas and easter for example?

Christmas and easter both have their belongings to pagan celebrations. You may deny it but that is what it is and any pagan will agree.

Is truth, or the belief that truth cannot lie, the original sin ?

It is interesting that some people believe that religion and science do not intersect. Logic would suggest that religion, Gods Science, a connection to a higher being would be higher than mans science which is fallible. But perhaps there is a connection that we have ingored.

can somebody explain (scientifically) what it is that makes us attracted to someone. also, there is this boy i feel super attracted to & it goes both ways but we didn't click immediately. when we had our first conversation we didn't feel anything. however, when i met him the second time i could just tell we were drawn to each other. the attraction was very strong. so my question is why didn't i feel that the first time i talked to him. and what's it all about.

What do you think?
In my opinion evolution has no effect on religion, and should be accepted as well proven theory.

In my opinion, discovering Evolution is just the way humans get closer to understanding the amazing rules of life god created for the universe.
Evolution is God's way of making humans the amazing, resourceful species they are.

When I visit another country for vacation I run into alot of cultural differences and differences in personal rights but I respect the laws of that country because after all I am not a citizen of it, but when people come over here, especially from latin america or whatever it is called, all they do is complain and break our laws and try to live like they are back home. I think if they choose to live in our country, they need to adapt to our way of life or go back where they came from. If I moved to the middle east, as a woman, I would have to dress more modestly and I doubt they would make special rules for me to dress like I do in the US but it is another country so why can the people who come to the US respect our laws and live according to our rules?

I was reading a book on world religions and the author had this to say about Wicca:

One of the rising trends in New Age spirituality is Wicca, the religion of witchcraft. It is closely related to goddess worship and neopaganism. All of these different groups hold to the divinity of nature and to the idea that spiritual power can be attained through the manipulation of these "natural forces." While Wicca originally attracted older adherents, it is quickly becoming a major attraction for young people. It promises power, mystery, self-gratification, and rebellion against Christianity.
