absolutely true..... Comapssion is within us all... its the true sense of our being..... we are just blinded by the complexities that exist in todays world........... we beleive that with compassion the world will be a better place... thats true.... but not many of them realise that they themselves will be more at peace and centered .......

we need a like person as the next President of the US or UN
if we lack a rudimentary element that has kept us alive until recently, we will self implode and kill each other like ravenous wolves..
well that's pretty much what is happening today

This is correct. An example of a person living without compassion during his dictatorship, but now pleading for compassion is Saddam Hussein.
He never thought he would be begging for compassion after mercilessly slaughtering thousand of his own countrymen.

Compassion, humility and honor are all severely lacking in today's world. More people need to get back to the basics and realize that we are all the same, striving for the same things: to better ourselves. While not all of us will take the "rightous" path we need to keep in mind that what it all boils down to is that while being individuals, we are all part of a much grander picture.

Yes, I believe all should have a sense of compassion religious or not. So, I would have to agree, if you have no compassion it would seem you would be a very insensitive person.
