For instance some say that the pentecotsal stance on salvation is by faith and works, then cite baptism as an example.

Has no one heard that baptism isn't our work but God's?
I know pentecostals do not believe in faith + works for salvation, that salvation is by God's grace ... but obedience to His Word is a requirement for those who would be called His.

Obedience can hardly be called a "work".

Has anyone noticed how many people get into this answers site and talk about comitting suicide? I don't get why they would use this source as an anti suicide forum. There are professional resources available to them, there are family and friends to support them hands on but they use this. This isn't a solution to the problems that they are having! I respond because they ask. Obviously it's an attention getter when they say I want to kill myself. Who wouldn't try to intervene and try to talk them out of it. I think suicide is selfish and I believe telling a million people you want to kill yourself tell me what you think, is selfish too.

shining figure appears in the sky and says:

and then he "creates" some living creatures right there
even this overwhelming and incredible event wouldn't be a conclusive proof because
maybe this giant figure is a just joke performed by some aliens who have superb technology (technology that can produce living organisms (even humans))

Doesn't the word 'celibate' mean that an individual who has had sex before in the past but have decided not to anymore until he/she feels ready the next time for whatever the reason may be? I keep hearing different definitions of the word. It's starting to confuse me...What's your interpreation of it? Thanks.

According to scripture, the meek will inherit the Earth. Okay, fine. The meek are now in the Holy Real Estate Market. However, something that is not addressed in the Bible is whether or not they inherit the Earth before or after Jehovah destroys it as per Revelations.

If it's before, what would be the point since God is just going to destroy it later? Just because they are meek doesn't mean they are stupid!

and...

If it's after, why would the meek even want it?
