>>"The Holy Spirit is god's messanger, his image for men. You see, man can't comprehend the true image of god hence a spirit that shows himself instead of the big buy. "<<

so where between the old and new testment did people lose this capacity?

in the OT god makes a POINT to NOT provide an image. because an image leads to an icon, and an icon leads to an idol. (such as jesus... *cough*)

"God" and "Holy Spirit" should be synonomous. but realistically christianity's polytheistic trinity muddles that up somewhat thoroughly.

The mystery of the Holy Trinity can be explained as God in three persons:

1) God, the Father-Yahweh, Eloihim,the Creator

2) God the Son, The Word of God, Jesus Christ, Our Lord

3) God, the Holy Spirit or the Holy Ghost-The Spiritual Guide or comforter, consubstantial with the Father and the Son.

I found some articles in the Genesis that propounds that God, the Holy Spirit is the feminine side of God. Whereas God, the Father is the masculine side. God ,the Father has an image. He created Adam according to his likeness or image. God, the Son is in the human flesh. And God,the Holy Ghost is in the Spirit form.

Yes, there is a difference. One is an actual living being, while one is really a concept.

Some scriptures refer to it as God's active force - what he uses to get things done - even referencing a soldier's arm (strength)

some people believe that the spirit is part of the Triune God that some Christians worship.

Did you ever notice, that although the Bible gives personal names to the Father and to the Son, the spirit is never given a personal name?

And when John had his vision in Revelation and saw into heaven (Chapter 1), he only saw 2 people - God and Jesus.

Also, if the holy spirit was really a person, how could it be split up into 120 different parts, as was the case at Pentecost 33 AD, when the 120 worshipers, who were gathered in an upper room to worship, had the holy spirit poured out into them (and then they began to speak in foreign languages so as to translate the message about the Chrisit into those languages for those people)? Acts chapter 2

Genesis refers to God's active force in the creation account (Genesis chapter 1) and the context of the creation shows that it was how God accomplished the creation.

YHWH or Jehovah God created Christ, through whom he created everything else, including the Holy Spirit. It can be referred to as a god, but never does the Bible refer to it or Christ as an Almighty God. It carries the blessing of Jehovah God to his chosen people, the New Israelites, otherwise known as Christians. The Holy Spirit resided in the Most Holy of the Temple, until the moment Christ died, at which time the great curtain tore open for everyone to see that ancient Israel no longer carried the blessings of God.

God is God. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit in which He does things. The Spirit could be like when someone says " he did it in the spirit of the moment". I hope this helps

There isn't. But the fact that christians believe in a Holy Spirit AND a God means Christianity is a polytheismic religion, not monotheismic.

I assume by God in this instance you are referring to the Father, and in the Biblical concept of the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. It's really, really hard to wrap our minds around because, quite simply, God defies our human ability to describe Him or understand Him, but the first link below should be very helpful for you. The One True God creates the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit creates the visible and invisibles worlds.
The Holy Spirit manifests Himself through the Human Temples (religious Founders) to teach man about all things.
So, there is tremendous difference between God and the Holy Spirit; then tremendous difference between the Holy Spirit and the Religious Founder; and then tremendous difference between the Religious Founder and man.

Have u ever heard about Trinity i.e. God, the son and the Holy spirit?
Their is a difference between the two but they are one.

God is omnipotent and he is in heaven. Holy Spirit is with us i.e. after the ascending of Jesus to Heaven, Jesus sent the Holy spirit to be with us, to guide and lead us in every way we may go!!!!

The Holy Spirit is god's messanger, his image for men. You see, man can't comprehend the true image of god hence a spirit that shows himself instead of the big buy.
