Well, this question is half right. God is influential BECAUSE He exists. I've read WHY I AM NOT A CHRISTIAN by Bertrand Russell, and the crux of his argument was that it was unfair to humans for God to exist and encroach upon our free will, so therefore God does not exist. Our desire for Him to not exist does nothing to negate His reality.

Bible says " Blessed is the man who has not seen yet has believed".
He may be ficticious b'coz you do not see Him. But He does an influencial man.

Even you could not have asked the question without god willing it.
He has given intelligence to man he has also given him discretion. If man wants by self effort he can attain the power of god. But men waste time wrangling over food, luxuries, religion, church, mosque and temple etc etc.God simply keeps smiling because when any one genuinely interested in him can easily find him

Haven't you heard of the common practice of resume-padding, in which people claim things on their resume that they never did?
God is just doing what everybody else does. He just wants people to think he is all-knowing and all-present.
You can't blame him. That's a great pickup line: "Hi, I'm God. Will you go out on a date with me?."
In reality, God is a part-time employee in a Krispy Kreme donut shop inside a WalMart in Mexico.

Fact is stranger than fiction. God created everything,expanding universe and evolution prove that GOD is Real,alive and still in the process of creation.
