Chewing with your mouth open can be excused if you have a medical condition that causes it. Otherwise it's rude if it disturbs the others at the table.
Swearing depends on the situation. Swearing during a formal dinner is bad form. Swearing when you are having dinner with friends that swear just as much is OK. Of course swearing just for swearing sake makes most persons look stupid and is just ridiculous.

I would say yes. there were cerrtain things that you should have been taught when you were being trained to become an adult. at the dinner table i was taught that yoau were not suppose to sing and we didn't know what swearing was, as for chewing with your mouth open that is very hard to do and keep everything in. yoe you are being rude to yourself and everyone around you. the worst thing of all is that you didn't recieve any home training. You should have been taught @ an early age the do's and don'ts of how to act at the dinner table and as an older person it shows your train of thought. NO RESPECT.

In most places cursing at the dinner table and eating with your mouth open is considered extremely rude.

It is rude.
But, if you are with like minded people then it become a 'group norm'.
And then is not rude.
I swear at the table with my mates, but i would never dream of doing it infont of my granny.

it depends on who you are eating with. If you are with people who are exercising what are commonly perceived as good table manners, and you want to draw attention to yourself in a negative way and make other people not want to socialise with you again, go right ahead. But if all the other people with you are doing much the same thing, then relax and chow down.

It depends on the crowd, and what curse words you are using. I wouldn't curse in front of children, but that is me. You can chew how ever you want.
