At the start of John's Gospel they ask John the Baptist if he is Elijah, he says NO.
They ask him, are you the Christ, he says NO.
So they ask him, are you the Prophet, he says NO. (in the Bible there is a footnote that states this is the Prophet in Deu 18:18)
they say, you are not Elijah, nor the Christ, nor the Prophet.
Elijah= Elijah
Christ= Jesus
Prophet= ??????????
They are still waiting for this Prophet at this time. John the Baptist does not correct them, so this shows they are right to be waiting.
I put it to you that that prophet is Muhammad, and that God's words are the qur'an...what say you?
Remember God promised in the Old testament he would raise a great nation from Ishmael (ie. the arabs)
