Describe what you think your life would be like if you were (are) a christian. What does it mean to follow Christ? I'll take all the answers I can get!! Don't hold back from what you think is the Truth on this one.

One thing that I want to add is instead of focusing on HOW to become a Christian answer what life is like/would be like as a Christian. So the answer would fall in two categories:
(A) What your life looks like if you follow Christ
(B) What you think Christian life is like, for those of you that do not follow Christ

Followers of the religious movement currently booming in America are calling themselves "born-agains" and "evangelicals" rather than the historically tainted term "fundamentalist." This is supposedly a sect of Protestant Christianity, but observation and research prove that it is no such thing.

This religion is more like a cross between hyper-Calvinism, civil patriotism, and Adam Smith-style economics. It believes only in the bloodiest parts of the Old Testament and almost totally ignores the New Testament. Its only requirements to entry are hatred of abortion, evolution and homosexuality. It doesn't care about the poor and thinks corporate America should be able to run wild. Its followers don't know or care about Jesus' teachings. They praise his birth and death, but never his life. They hold George W. Bush up as a Pharoah: God on Earth, or God's direct representative. They call hate, greed and violence "faith."

Is this a new kind of Christianity, or a whole new religion?

If the unthinkable should someday come to pass and your legislature were to consider such a bill, would you support it? Why? Why not?

If you say yes, would you feel the same way if the bill were to support a religion or moral philosophy OTHER than your own and outlaw all others, including yours?

How his death on the cross paid our debt to god for our countless sins. To sin is to own god a debt, jesus died on the cross to pay that debt for anyone who would turn from sin and be born agin.
I hope i'm just being dumb about this and one day I will truly get it, but I would be a lier if I said I did.
Love god with all your heart and mind and soul.
I love him with all my heart and soul, but my mind rebels.
I can't logicly make sinse of it.
Is it an extention of offering sacrfices to him as in the old tesoment? He sacrficed him self-ok good.
But how did it work in the old tesoment?
Give up somthing important to us to show god we are sorry.
how could he do it for us?

You know, the girls from the 50's who are on all those old Coca-Cola ads, and they have big skirts like poodle skirts, except without poodles embroidered on them. And they wore the white keds with the socks rolled down. They wore their hair up in a ponytail with a big bow in it. My friends and I thought it would be cute to dress up like that for Halloween, but I was looking up costumes, and I can't figure out what to type in to get the right results. psalms 83:18 says that the most high is Jehovah. the lords prayer opens with 'let your name be sanctified'.
so why do you still go about refering to Him as God, Father and Lord when you could be using His actual name Jehovah?

Do you think that all people from a ranch hand to a tycoon are equal in their attributes. That each human being is given certain aspects that make them all equal. Lets get 1 thing clear, I am not a rasist or an idiot I just have a question that I cant seem to fiure out. In the memory of the Croc Hunter S. Irwin. I would like to know why do you all like to mess with nature e.g. wild animals. Im sure its some black ppl who do but not as many as you all.
