Chokan had a very beautiful daughter named Seijo. He also had a handsome young cousin named Ochu. Joking, he would often comment that they would make a fine married couple. Actually, he planned to give his daughter in marriage to another man. But young Seijo and Ochu took him seriously; they fell in love and thought themselves engaged. One day Chokan announced Seijo's betrothal to the other man. In rage and despair, Ochu left by boat. After several days journey, much to his astonishment and joy he discovered that Seijo was on the boat with him!

They went to a nearby city where they lived for several years and had two children. But Seijo could not forget her father; so Ochu decided to go back with her and ask the father's forgiveness and blessing. When they arrived, he left Seijo on the boat and went to the father's house. he humbly apologized to the father for taking his daughter away and asked forgiveness for them both.

"What is the meaning of all this madness?" the father exclaimed. Then he related that after Ochu had left, many years ago, his daughter Seijo had fallen ill and had lain comatose in bed since. Ochu assured him that he was mistaken, and, in proof, he brought Seijo from the boat. When she entered, the Seijo lying ill in bed rose to meet her, and the two became one.

Zen Master Goso, referrring to the legend, observed, "Seijo had two souls, one always sick at home and the other in the city, a married woman with two children. Which was the true soul?"

then some just got right on me and were still mean to me-that isnt fair-and what did Jesus do to deserve you to be mean to me too??? and i dont have a cult-i love Jesus with all my heart and soul

i asked Jesus to forgive all my sins even being mean and lying and stealing and other bad stuff and help me and be my friend and come into my heart-amen and he did like he said he would in Revelation 3 vs 19&20 now im happy and i dont be mean -well maybe alittle but not like these people

I mean he was a man (so they say) and he did have correct anatomy..so did he ever have physical feelings for a women? Since so many said he never married - you think he masturbated alot? I would think so if he had physical feelings....either that or I would think he was gay. Could Jesus have been Gay? Most say he never married, and during that time - that was unheard of.

who is perfect, sinless, full of love for those he created, kill so many people? Not people who die everyday. Im talking entire cities. Sodom. Gomorrah. According to the fairytales of the Bible he even killed every man, woman, and child one the face of the Earth, except for Noah and his family. In getting the Isrealites freed from slavery in Egypt, didnt he kill the firstborn male of every household? This does not sound like a very caring God. It sounds more like a very mean and spiteful God.
There had to be infants that were killed in the flood. What sins did they commit to be murdered by the all loving God?
If he loves every one of "his children" then how could he murder them?
It seems pretty convienient that each time he has done this there was only one person or family that was good enough to save. The entire Earth and only noah and his family were good enough to save? Come on!

For instance, the particular ethnicities I'm thinking of are mostly the Latin Europeans such as Spaniards, Portuguese, and Italians, and then also the other southern Mediterranean Europeans such as Greeks for example. Do you think they're all "white" , per se ? Particularly interested to hear the opinions of "non-white" people on this issue as well.

Also, why are the Latin Europeans, from where the whole Latin culture and the Latin languages, etc, came into central and south America, why are they not (usually) called "Latins" today anymore in America? In reality, though, they ARE of a Latin culture and speak Latin (based) languages just like all the people we call "Latinos" in America today (there are even a lot of certain cultural similarities between Spaniards, Italians, Portuguese, and central and south Americans for example).

even some of the christians here seem so Unnice its starting to seem? i personally, do not judge any christian. some 'christian' so he said answered a question i asked on here yesterday and he scrolled through All my answers and picked a few things he assumed were sinful about me, and called me a hypocrite. how can i be a hypocrite if i ADMIT i am not perfect? are there anymore non-perfect christians here?

I just started my new teacher assisting job and the lead teacher constantly says:"I never hold grudges and hold no animosity towards people because we have to deal with each other the whole school year" Okay, so why is it that while we are in front of the children instructing the children she calls out my clerical mistake in front of them and gets nasty with me about my not being on "task". Isn't this the wrong image to show children?I am an adult and I shouldn't be belittled by this woman in front of them, because now I feel they may not respect me. So my question is how should I go about this? I haven't gotten my first check yet, (its the only reason why I haven't hurt the lead teacher's feelings--yet)
