I have a paper, in which the suffix 'de-' is being used and emphasised, and I want to be able to find information on this suffix, can anybody help?

De- as a prefix means öpposite or reverse like in decoder.
-De- in the middle (especially in names) means of or from.
-De as a suffix ???? Ummm .. I don't think it is ever used as a suffix.

I havea quiz on prefixes/suffixes tomorrow.
de- dis- means lower, opposite. ex. devalue...lower the value of..etc.

'de-' is a prefix that means "to remove"... "defeather" means "to remove feathers", to "decapitate" means "to remove the head", etc.
