Is Islam growing only due to very high birthrate?

Has anyone statistics to show how many convert, thinking it's the right thing to do?

Considering only the top 100 of these there are 30 countries with the highest birthrate AND Muslim. Thus 60% of the countries with the highest birthrate are Islamic.
NOTE:- BABIES CAN NOT CHOOSE THEIR RELIGION.

No, that's not the only reason, but it is without a doubt the biggest contributing factor. Islam has a very powerful propoganda machine working for it, and sometimes "lying with statistics" is used by some of the less scrupulous evangelists.

For example, there is a popularly quoted statistic that says Islam has grown 235% in USA. Well it has...over the last 50 years. It fails to address the fact that many of the "new Muslims" are actually immigrants who were already Muslim, NOT converts from another religion.

There was a time when I was in spiritual limbo, and actaully considered converting to Islam. But the more I learned about it, the more I realized something wasn't quite right. When I catch an evangelist using lies, exaggerations, and omissions to promote their religion, it lets me know that their goals are self serving, and not intended to "save" anyone. It makes me believe their religion is based on lies, which is the sure sign of a false religion.

I'm surprised no one has called you a racist for asking this question. I've seen this question several times, and each time, the asker was attacked with infantile insults and called a "racist", even though the term doesn't apply.

The growth of Islam is mainly due to:

1) Strong conversion campaign in the low social layers of society, those where most uncultivated people are attracted and find a guide in Allah's teachings (good and bad)
2) Very high birthrate amongst immigrate muslism and in middle easter muslim countries
3) Prohibition for muslims to convert to other religions (death penalty is in force in most cases as that is apostasy) which is greatly preventing muslims from converting to other religions.

Of course there's a high birthrate considering the horniness of Muslim men and fertility of Muslim women, but doubt its a main factor.

Conversion to Islam has doubled since the attack on 9/11. So all this insult and blame on Muslims actually worked as a favour on our part. People now bother to read, understand and love Islam. Thank you all.

This seems to such a touchy subject and some people don't understand!!!I converted about a year ago and I live in the UK,also to add to a earlier comment,no one can force you to be Muslim,Islamic country or not.Alot of this is due down to the actual culture of the people,It does actually say you should be Muslim for yourselfs and no one else otherwise you are not considered Muslim.

those of us who are Muslim in the true sense of the word believe in Islam because it means "peace", i know many Muslims who have been born into a Muslim family and then grown older and realised it's not for them, not all Muslim women need rescuing by the west we live a happy and fulfilled life believing in our faith, that do's not mean i agree that bombing and killing innocent people is right.
Christianity and Judaism have all had there faiths criticised and ridiculed and has had it's fair share of extremists i can't 'drop' my beliefs because of someone with the same religion as me decides he wants to be a suicide bomber.

Absolutely right. Not only in Muslim countries but also in European countries.
The also convert prisoners who are ignorant of their own religion. And thus their minds can be easily molded to hate their own religion and practice a new religion which promotes savage killings in the name of Allah.
