I am a Tailor. I make custom-made or made-to-order clothes for my clients.

And, I know many people who also do the same business that I do.....tailor friends, owning shops, doing dressmaking and tailoring, specializing in made-to-order clothes, etc.

And, because we live in a small town, everybody knows everybody; therefore, some of my customers are also customers of some of my fellow tailors who also have their own shops.

One day a client came to my shop bringing with her some of the clothes another shop had made for her. She claims she has brought these to that shop like 3 times to have some fittings adjusted but they just couldn't get the fit right! Now, she wants me to adjust the fitting of these clothes telling me she'll pay like as if she ordered new clothes from me as long as we get the fit right.

Now, I've heard that it is unethical for a client to have her clothes adjusted or altered by a shop that didn't make them originally.

True? False?

i'm a bartender, and most people tip me $1 per drink. i'm a easygoing, nice girl and have alot of regulars who seem to really like me alot.

sometimes people don't tip at all...i'm wondering if they are just too drunk to remember to or maybe i'm not doing my job right somehow.

its frustrating, since i make all my money off tips. out of curiousity, what do you guys tip your bartender? and if you don't tip, what are your reasons?

I attended a Friday service at the Mosque last week. My husband has converted from Christianity to Muslim, and I was interested in learning more about Muslims. I was wondering how the women pray and what are they saying when they pray at the Mosque. I saw women put their hands by their faces and over their chest before bowing down on the mats. What do you think of this? I think it's tacky and rude. Why can't we use both merry Christmas and happy holidays. I just don't get it why they are trying to take God out of everything!! I understand the religious views of all but why do we have to be punished for our beliefs in God. It is not impressing our beliefs in God on people just by saying Merry christmas, at least in my eyes. I am not slamming others religious views, I am baptist and I am respectful of all religions.

What made you choose to go forth and lead a life based on a manuscript written by men centuries ago? Did you see God, Jesus or a miracle in your lifetime to make you believe? Or did you have a huge hole in your life and you decided to fill it with something other people told you to instead of drugs and sex and fun?
