There will be a better job. i have been laid off from my job too and the department i was working at was closing sometime in 2007 or 2008. So, I am glad that I no longer worked there because it was an unstable environment, not a 40-hour work week (that I need) and not that busy. Sometimes there will be days when it was really slow that I had not that much stuff to do to keep busy. When it was my second month there at my position, my former supervisor had trouble finding me work to keep me busy so he asked Rose (one of the ladies i used to help out) if she needed my help. If she didn't, then my supervisor would send me home. I almost had a half days work that day. I don't expect to be sent home by my supervisor. So, you have to find something wrong with your previous position and look at the positive side. There is always something wrong with a certain job if you are laid off and there will be a better job waiting for you.

At least you have more time to hang out with us :~)
but seriously i am sorry ,that sounds bum, but i am sure you will land on your feet again.Things have a way of looking really hopeless sometimes, but i believe in fate and am sure this will work out to your advantage.
think of what you have achieved recently or in the past, like leaving your home country and starting a new life. It is a brave move, which you may not have given too much thought to.think of now as another new beginning to which you can have a whole new game plan.
Hope you feel better soon.

You don't need them. You will have a better job, just around the corner. Try this, hold your tongue with your teeth and repeat after me
"I work on a pirate ship with a bunch of apples"
Read it once on here. lol

When one door closes, it allows another to open. Maybe your life will change in an unexpected way, for the best.

You have a cute face thin waist and nice hair (I think). Your boss is crazy he needs his head cheeked he must be a miserable lonely old man.
