After reading Bono's question about a month ago about hunger I was talking to my sytlist and he mentioned 'going to bed hungry' as a child. This man is very successful now and I just would have never assumed that about his past. So my question is, "Have you ever went to bed hungry?" I don't really mean by choice like dieting, I mean seriously hungry?

I was homeless for about a year and a half before. Hunger and I have made an acquaintance.

Yes, I have. Bono needs to be reminded that charity begins at home. There are kids in a state the world over, but why don't we just give all this aid to Africa, so their dictators can build bigger swimming pools, etc. Africa is a bottomless pit in terms of overseas aid. Their government spend all their GNP on AK47s' and teach their kids to be soldiers. We should concentrate our charitable instincts to those who really need it, instead of the Africans.

why does anyone pay attention to Bono? he's an idiot, for someone who travels all over the world he could have at least got his crap straight before he said "one, two, three, fourteen" in that new crap song they had out a few months ago

Many times, both as a child and as an adult. It happens more often than people think.
