A client comes to my shop and orders to have a custom-made outfit done for her. She shows me her sketch of the design she wants. The design had a style that I rarely get to work on, but I decided to accept the challenge and agreed to make the outfit for her.

She asks me how much she'll be paying for the outfit. I did some calculating in my mind, and finally blurted out the price cost of the outfit.

She finally agreed on the price after a failed attempt to persuade me to lower it. Then, she left after we discussed the schedules of her fittings.

As I began purchasing the materials and started working on her outfit, I observed the huge amount of time and effort used in the process; and found out that I had undervalued the actual cost of the needed materials! I realized I made some miscalculations and made a mistake with the price I came up with. It turns out that the actual cost of the outfit is a lot more than the original price I gave her!

What is the ethical thing to do????

I have a great idea for a halloween costume this year but it requires me to be a black person and I'm white. I need to cover my face and both arms from shoulder to fingertips. What could I possibly use? Shoe polish was suggested but that would be one hell of a mess. I think the spray on tan makes you look orange so that won't work either. Please help!

First of all, please don't think I hate Muslims or anything like that. I am just curious and would like to ask this question and get some honest answers from honest Muslims.


My question is this: You all say Islam is a peaceful religion. There are other Muslims who blow things up in the name of Allah. You all say that killing is not part of Islam. Then why don't the Muslims stand up and say something to these extremists who are killing and using your religion as a cover up? Why don't leaders of Islam stand up and demand these people to stop? I mean if someone was doing these things in the name of my religion, I would sure as heck stand up and try to stop them--so why don't Muslims?

This was a song I heard on Andre Rieu's Homecoming concert on PBS. On the show, they displayed English subtitles, and the words were charming. But the only lyrics I could find of it were in the native Dutch dialect of Maastrichts, which I can't read at all. BabelFish doesn't work for this dialect either (I tried). Can you translate this, please? Thanks so much!

cheated and lied, watched porno and have had sexual thoughts. if the bible and religion say we are not supposed to do these things...then why do they exist? aren't we all humans and humans have urges right? A great white building likely a temple huge you can see the walls but have no idea of the real distance based on what you see. Then a golden pool in the center smooth and beautiful, when you air at the pull a white crusifix arises out of the pool spinning very slowly and you can not bear to look at the face on the cross so you don't see it.

2nd dream you see an great thrown wouth a green ball hanging over it but you are to freightened to do anything for fear of making the wrong decision and forfeiting your existance.

There is one story I know of where an ancient Indian tribe (Aztecs-?) played a baseball-type game to the death in honor of one of their deities...They were killed by the other team.

First I'll start by saying I'm a 21-year old Muslim guy. We all remember what has happened exactly five years ago, and how did it change, without exaggeration, the history. Thousands of lives lost, and hatred against Muslims in general raised, especially in the US. I know it isn't enough, nor will it erase what happened, but I feel sorry for all of these souls gone. Yes it was an act of terror, and massive murder, which contradicts the very basic teachings of Islam that calls for tolerance and justice with all other beleifs. The one who was responsible for this, not only hurt Americans, but Muslims as well, by ruining the true picture of Islam, and making many people understand that Muslims kill other "non-beleivers". I live in a community where the majority are Muslims , and the rest are Christians. They're treated the exact same way as any other citizen, we make friends with them, and even visit them on their holidays (And they do the same).

She is real nice. We lost one student and gained another. So we are back to 6 again. She was taken out of a big city school where the kids called her Miss piggy. She has an eating disorder. She was so sad, because the kids didn't like here. Made fun of her hair, clothes, and body, her glasses. But she is real nice she was afraid of us at first. They put spiders in her locker and laughed when she cried. Why are kids so mean?

Get over yourself. If you are a white male, you have the chance to do anything and everything you want. When you turn on the television you see your people in every frame. You have more women to choose from, more jobs, no one looks down on you.

I'm tired of white people denying your part in racism. You guys are at the top of the race pole so stop whining. When is the last time you saw a black president? Do you get pulled over by cops all of the time just for driving? Do you always wonder if someone thinks you are lesser because you aren't white? Blacks will never be good enough. How many white people lose their jobs because of Affirmative Action? How many black people don’t get jobs because they are black?

Ever wonder what it is like to be a minority? Have you ever dated a woman of another race; or a black woman? Black women are the least desired of all the races, you love to date your beautiful blondes and never a dark-skinned black woman a second glance. Don’t deny it.

I have to write a letter to a level of buracracy , where I solicit them to pass a norm to allow me to "BLANK" my "BLANK"


Any ideas on how to wright a letter like that ?

If the blanks confuse you and you need more info to tell me how to wright a letter like that , your too dependent on people giving you the whole deal , and not independet enouh to figure it out by yourself

People became sympathetic and very polite in the days following September 11, 2001... yet here we are only 5 years later and people have gone back to the same hateful, ignorant, and oblivious behavior. You cannot say hello to someone or smile at them without them giving you an absurd look.
