First I'll start by saying I'm a 21-year old Muslim guy. We all remember what has happened exactly five years ago, and how did it change, without exaggeration, the history. Thousands of lives lost, and hatred against Muslims in general raised, especially in the US. I know it isn't enough, nor will it erase what happened, but I feel sorry for all of these souls gone. Yes it was an act of terror, and massive murder, which contradicts the very basic teachings of Islam that calls for tolerance and justice with all other beleifs. The one who was responsible for this, not only hurt Americans, but Muslims as well, by ruining the true picture of Islam, and making many people understand that Muslims kill other "non-beleivers". I live in a community where the majority are Muslims , and the rest are Christians. They're treated the exact same way as any other citizen, we make friends with them, and even visit them on their holidays (And they do the same).

So why don't we stick together as humans, no matter what we believe. I hate killing, I hate terrorism, because I'm a normal human being and tend to love peace. I hope everyone support this.

Thank you

prince uranus, christians, muslims, and zionists and pretty much every religion has hadfollowers who have killed in the name of their beliefs.

There is much prejudice towards islam now. Christians pointing out things that they have read in the Koran saying that it advocates violence. Does not christianity advocate violence against pagans/witches? i mean the christianity and islam have alot in common, one thing being peaceful followers, not every muslim is a terrorist, and not every terrorist is muslim, so stop the lies, christians!

Are you asserting the government needs to eliminate the date of 11th of September off the calendars? i don't comprehend. You do comprehend that there are a million million people on the NO FLY checklist for the airways, precise? And do you comprehend how lots of them stay right here interior the States? till stricter immigration rules are handed with time limitations for duel citizenships, and working visa's are time limited besides, our us of a will continuously have an argument with terrorists residing among us.

I do not blame all Muslims for the evil acts by some Muslims. I do not even blame Islam for it as you say it does not teach this. One must realize that there is good and bad in all peoples. I too hope someday we can learn to live in peace and tolerance.

Peace Be With You,

I agree with Bamski. Good answer. Muslims need to do some 'self policing' and clean up their 'religion'.

Debra--Islam is NOT a religion of peace. read the Koran before you come out with statements like that. If Muhammed isn't urging his followers to murder, pillage and steal from their neighbors, he (muhammed) is marrying children!

The solution to this problem with the "Islamic image" is something only the muslims themselves can solve---and in my book all they've done so far is whine about being misrepresented. i've yet to hear of any widespread opposition within the islamic world to what happened on 9-11.

About all i hear from the muslims is when they're chanting "Death to the Great Satan America" and "Death to Israel".

No, I don't think there's room enough on this God's green earth for both of us. One of us has to go, and i'd sure prefer it was the muslims.
