Almighty God, the events of five years ago will be indelibly inscribed in our memories.
We looked with horror on the terrorist attacks of September 11th 2001.
But we looked with honor on acts of courage by ordinary people
who sacrificed themselves to prevent further death and destruction.
We shed our tears in a common bond of grief for those we loved and lost.
We journeyed through a dark valley, but your light has led us to a place of hope.
You have turned our grief into determination.
We are resolved to do what is good, and right, and just.
Help us to remember what it means to be Americans—
a people endowed with abundant blessings.
Help us to cherish the freedoms we enjoy and inspire us to stand
with courage, united as one Nation in the midst of any adversity.
Lord, hear this prayer for our Nation. Amen.

Religious I'm not,but I was under the impression that you have to ask God for forgiveness while you are still alive. Just because they are victims doesn't mean they automatically go to heaven, right? There could have been (and probably was) some awful people that died from all that hell that day. So because they are victims at that moment, then they get a free pass into heaven? That's not what I was taught. I'm sure the ones that belonged there, got there.

Forgive the victims? You mean for any sins they had ? Sure, I believe God is all Merciful.
Will/did he forgive the hijackers? I think so, yeah, because they were not thinking in their rights minds, and could have even been brainwashed to do this. No where in the religion of Islam, is this behavior allowed, no matter what other radicals say.
God forgives us all, and certainly the innocent victims of such tragedies, even the ones who planed it, he knows better than us who they are, and he knows the people on the planes and those in the buildings.
It is not for us to judge an all powerful and merciful God.
I pray for the world to see that there is no beauty in killing and hurting each other, and there is no wonderful outcomes, for people who take a religion, and twist and turn it into an ideology of hate, and terror. I think some of them are really convinced this is what Islam wants, so they do it, and for them, I pray the most for.
And you know what? WE are victims too, all of us, even those of us who lost no one... we are victims, too, because that day, changed our life's forever.. and broke our hearts and some faith in the human race. May God forgive us all, and grant us all faith and health, and a confident attitude, in the face of a very unstable world.

Your heart is in the right place, however you know as well as all others that forgiveness of sins is while we are in the flesh. We can pray to God for the hope that the people who lost their lives in this tragedy had already been in the Grace of God at the time of their death.
People must realize that we go around only one time here on Earth, and then comes the judgment. I know its a tuff this to say it like this, but its also the best way to get the people to think about their lives and their relationship with their creator.
I hurt for all who lost someone on 09-11-01, and my prayers go out to them now and everytime I think of what happened on that day in the history of mankind.><>

for sure you may want to know that's inaccurate. the biggest reason is as Paul says "deaden your body individuals". Masturbation surely will develop a sexual urge for nutrients. no longer sturdy. Bible "that's more desirable proper to marry than to develop into infected with pastime". the area is you're not from now on previous sufficient to marry. verify with a depended on older male who may have had an analogous concern. i have raised sons, don't be too not straightforward on your self. basically shop in ideas, God created the first human pair to favor to develop the inhabitants "God suggested, it replaced into sturdy."

We also need to Pray for troops around the world. Even ones we might not agree with, they are still humans, and have families like us.

Trust me - for all that deserved it, the doors of heaven flew open for all of those victims the second their lives ended. Why on earth would they need forgiveness - thou shall not judge.
