One of the main reasons that I have converted from a catholic to an Orthodox is this. How can Jesus be the son of god, while God is a single individual with no other to acompany him.Orthodox is VERY similar to Islam (I mean the russian orthodox) and every thing in orthodoxy has all the sense. I support the orthodox people by saying Jesus is not the Son of God, that God had no child, and that Jesus is sent here as a prophet. And I say that Orthodoxy is the right type of Christianity.

And if the old testament is the old covenant, why should it be part of the bible at all?
Jewish myth and old Jewish law is all it is, why should Christians pay any attention to it?

How do you know what is part of the old covenant and what is of the new,
Why is beating slaves, the way to sacrifice animals and other wacked laws "old covenant" but the things that don't disturb people's modern ethics as much in the OT is "god's word" to be taken literally, (adam and eve, noah, etc.)
